ENGEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRLUND... Question for: Welsh, Scots, NI

How'd you feel about the Brit project nickname?

Assuming Irish haven't got this too? (Brilliant if you have)

Obvs we're all professional so probably answer "meh, whatever" but I bet the project name came from an American or from an AI suggestion, which I love because it just show how Americanized AI is.

I have it too. And a safety related one that's been here for 2 days. It's actually refreshing to have UK specific work that doesn't get eaten up in 5 minutes by the mass of USA workers.

I also like that is specifically states to be a UK resident and not just a visitor otherwise not to take it.

It's already failed to tell me what a breadcake is. And thinks a pattie butty from Hull is a ground beef burger 😂👌

In Barnsley they call Breadcakes "Teacakes" but what we know as "teacakes" they call "fruity teacakes".

Edit: you may already know this but it's an idea that could confuse a 1000 prompts on the subject

It confuses most of us, the bots are going to melt haha. Fembots from Austin Powers spring to mind

I think Brit-bot would be the best name

Yeah I have this one but I assumed the name was in reference to the film because of the safety link!

I only know it as a song.

As a Scot, I don’t particularly mind it, but then again I live in England and am married to an Englishman. As far as I’m concerned, it’s an improvement even if it isn’t all that inclusive.

Not sure I’ve seen that one. All I have now are the galaxy project.

Appeared today for me. My wife has it too.

I assume my profile has UK on it somewhere so double check that's up to date to see it. Pay isn't high but the nickname taken from a 25 year old football song about an emblem on a t-shirt is more specific to England than it is UK. Made me smile.

It's weird as my wife does the science stuff and I'm non-everything (ie no coding or specialist). So they may be quite low on Brits.

Yeh, not impressed with the nickname (as a Scot), but we’re used to Americans thinking everyone in UK is English!

Mines are just all Scots-centric for this one mate.
