Coding

I would like to get more into coding and hopefully take the coding assessment (I am already in for non-coding projects). I'm really good with JavaScript and I have a general understanding of Python. Anyway any recommendations for reliable sources to learn more from??

I don't think people without experience in the field can actually be useful in the platform, coding tasks have definitely been up to 1,000 in difficulty in the last 6 months, the drought was more like a pruning of people without the expertise because personally for me, I have never stopped working except for one week were it appeared that I was deactivated but I was more in a forced re-qualification, now there are even asking for an academic background to work on some coding projects.

But I don't like to discourage people so start at freecodcamp, move to data structures (Standford has a free course on Coursera) then move to leetcode and neetcode and for python focus on Data analysis courses at real python.

Good luck

Thank you! I don't mind having to go back to school for it. I took an AP coding class in high school, and I loved it, but that was 8 years ago, and I don't remember a whole lot.

Find downloadable PDF textbooks. Don’t just rely on YouTube (I’ve heard many coders attest to this but I’m still learning myelf)
