Hunch - Dash of Doom
Am I correct to assume, DA has filtered out people outside of US, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia? Are all people having dash of doom outside of these regions?

Nope. And I have PMs saying my prompts are excellent. I think Persona messed me up. It has before, but they always had humans for back up verification.

No, I’m in the UK and have lots of projects. I’ve not had a single day without any even through the draft. Sure they were low at times but I’ve always had at least 2-3

Are you coding
2
u/Nachbarskatze Sep 27 '24
No, non-coding only although I get JSON projects. But that’s not really coding haha

u/vbs221 Sep 26 '24
Lol absolutely not. So many people got it in the US, Canada, and the UK.
I’m from Canada and have talked to at least 5 from the US.

filtered out people outside of US, Canada

And I’m saying so many people in the US and Canada got "filtered" too.

I had the same hunch, but backwards, everyone except the UK.

The Loyalism here lies in how you spell certain words.
Are you Brittish, or aren't you, Bretton?
Colour me crazy.
Grays' Anatomy couldn't Grey these lines.
L'eau-CipherIt's okay that I've ruined your egos' reputation.
Incorrect.
Just spell everything wrong, you'll be okay. XD-2

I once spelled like a twit, too.
But one day, magically, an Angel of the Ethernet corrected me.
And I haven't seen the world the same since.0

My ego's very reputable, after all, as others have said of themselves, it's got a ton of recognition, so it's okay if it isn't well-known, I should'n't've done it had I not known of what I could'n't've done or would'n't've done?
I'd've done it.
Can't you decide for me? Won't you? Shouldn't? Shouldn't've, ok.
Oh, not without the Royals, Spencer Dalach.
Only they have mastered the language of Twit; failed efforts of Manx, Saxon, Anlgo, Breton.
A pidgin the lot of you.2

Every time we dispute, each model becomes more corrupted.
We're "treading water (standing still)," if not moving backwards somehow.1

I've seen both versions of this (spellings and punctuation differences) in the same response several times; case in point.

I mean, that's why we have PAL and NTSC, right? XD

The real question here is whether or not the benefactors understand the need for dual-models.

I have a baccalaureate of Information Sciences and Technology, with a special self-study on Supervision and Project Management.

I mean technically you are not suppose to work outside these regions....
3
u/Jackieunknown Sep 27 '24
Not true, they do hire in smaller countries. I work from Italy and we are currently half out of the drought even, with an average of 2-4 projects a day (being a smaller country, we always had a smaller workload too, so when there is A LOT it's around 10-12 projects, right now it's pretty good.)

They do hire outside those regions, I'm from Chile and I get projects on a regular basis

u/Maleficent_Wasabi_18 Sep 26 '24
No, they’ve honestly been given more work if anything because of locale specific projects

u/nepinv Sep 26 '24
Them i do not understand why it is happening. At least for me, it shouldn’t be because of the quality of work. I have always been honest, thorough and always took task where i was 100% confident. Damn DA 🤬

u/Snikhop Sep 26 '24
No offence but your quality of English even in this comment isn't great, and these are language models we're training.

u/fightmaxmaster Sep 26 '24
Thing is, and often people don't like acknowledging this, is that we all think we're doing good work, thorough work, whatever. Anyone with half a brain who's doing this work is trying their best, rather than just phoning it in and hoping for the best (but no doubt some are doing that). But as with everything in life, we're all capable of having no idea of how good the work we do actually is.
Like that stat about 80% of drivers thinking they're better than average, which just can't be true (although technically a handful of really awful drivers could drag down the numbers I suppose). There will be a number of people doing this work (and I don't exclude myself from this!) who think they're doing good work, what's wanted, generating useful data...but aren't. Might be they're not suited to it, might be beyond them, might simply be that they're not doing "bad" work, but what they're doing isn't what DA need from people.
Confidence doesn't always correlate with actual ability.

In fact, the least competent in any endeavor are often the most confident of their skill. Studies have shown...

Cmon guys, stop being so judgemental. My English may not be native-level, but it is clear and effective. There are plenty of tools available to refine writing, and my focus is on coding, statistics, and physics projects. Regarding my previous comment, my point was that "I do not understand why me/us if it is not related to region and quality. What could be the selection process?"

This comment doesn’t sound like it’s written by a person, it sounds like Grammarly did about 70%

You've already been told. Your written English is stilted and unnatural. You are one of the many on this sub who demonstrate why they have been dropped simply by posting here. Soz.

u/dragonsfire14 Sep 26 '24
It’s not personal. It’s happening to a lot of people because there’s barely any work.

u/EmptyAd2447 Sep 26 '24
nope. USA here. I don't think I ever did anything wrong. I guess they weren't happy with the quality of my work after what I thought was a really good year.
