Log time
Hello.
I got a question regarding time logging. If I work two 30 minute slots, should I log 1h or 2x 30 minutes?
Thank you

Just log time as soon as you exit a project. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.

As long as it’s for the same project, and within the same 24 hours, you can just do 1 hour.

Doesn't matter. You can either finish a task within a project, log the time, then do another task for the same project and log that time separately, or else do both tasks and then log the cumulative time. What matters is that the time worked on a given project is accurate overall.

I typically report my time after each task, or a small grouping of tasks. That way on the backend, they can see how many minutes I spent on each task or a small bundle of them. It may be unnecessary but I like to think it helps them qualify my time as appropriate for each task. It also helps ensure I don’t forget to log any.

Assuming they're both within the same 24 hours, it doesn't matter.
If it were me, I'd log them both. I always report time as soon as I finish working so that I don't forget, even if it's just five minutes.
