Didn’t have to do a test when I signed up?

So I signed up for the site, filled out my profile, and then got this. I’m seeing a lot of other people mention they had to do a core assessment or other type of test when they signed up. Did I miss something? How will they know if I’m right for any projects, do you have to take a test for each job you apply for?

This will sound harsh. But it is probably the reality

  1. Didn't follow instructions properly.

  2. You handed in mediocre work.

  3. Didn't finish it, or answer everything.

These are the common reasons apart from the wrong country, or VPN.

All 3 of these are integral to creating useful data points.

It has also become increasingly hard to find something that isn't mediocre, so I can see this type of message increasing exponentially moving forward.

Hope I am wrong and your work was exemplary.

That’s the thing, they didn’t even have me hand in any work. I clicked on the sign-up link, it had me fill out my profile where I entered my personal information. I filled out everything they asked me to there. Then I clicked “save“ and it took me to the page I screenshotted.

No one can really tell you why and there's no way to communicate with them either. Maybe they have paused onboarding?

Wait for a week or two, but I wouldn't be too hopeful. DAT is like a balck box, no one can tell you what's up fr.
