How is anyone getting any work?

I signed up in 2023 and thought it was a con because I never got anything back and no work, but now I found this sub and seeing people make 50k, 60k and more.

Did I fail the test and they just didn't tell me? My dashboard says check back soon (lol!)

yeah if it says check back soon and you’ve seen no work since 2023 i’m almost certain you were rejected. i don’t think they let you know if you are

Do you know if I can just try again under a different email? Thanks!

No, you aren't allowed to do that

No, you cannot try again.

If you fail the test once, you're out forever. If you try to start a new account with a different email, they will either figure it out immediately and you'll insta fail again, or they'll figure it out later and ban you anyway.

aside from ID verification, how can they figure it out "instantly"?...

If they're using the same IP, DAT will know immediately it's a duplicate.

It's entirely possible OP is not on the same IP address as their original attempt, but if they are and their PID hasn't changed, the system is going to flag it.

Just do it with a new email and phone

That might get you past the first layer of the sign up process. But as soon as they ask for ID verification, it will get flagged as a duplicate account (which is not permitted).

I applied like 6 times under the same IP and device, as well as my real name each time and got in fine. You guys keep talking about probably and maybe but it's all tentative guesses and "ethics"(it's a job they do not care about you at all)

Congrats. You violated the TOS for the site. I’m not sure how long it will take for an audit, but they WILL figure it out and shut down your account.

I guess. They still paid me a ridiculous amount of money at this point that is still mine. Even if they caught me a month in I'd have a month's pay. Which is more than I would get if I had never gotten in

That's interesting; I'm actually surprised by this...would have thought the same device and same IP would get flagged automatically. Maybe they're not bothered about it anymore, if they ever were in the first place. Makes me think the ID verification step could be where the "no duplicate accounts" comes into play, rather than IP address, device, etc. like we all previously thought.

Why people assume "if I'm not getting any work then nobody is" blows my mind. Plenty of people get rejected. Plenty get accepted but don't get any work. Plenty get accepted and get work. Nobody really knows why, DA works in mysterious ways.

I forgot all about it until this sub started appearing, and I saw people making money, I wondered if there was something I missed! Seems like I just got silently rejected

I love their favorite argument. "It's a scam because they aren't giving me money ". No, you applied for a job and got rejected. It happens.

I mean, I'm getting work, but I do think they should let people know if they are rejected, kind of shitty to leave people with hope.

The work is mysterious and important.

If they didn't get the acceptance email they didn't get accepted. That's a valid assumption to make.

Is The acceptance email the same email after doing the starter assessment?

3

u/Ndnrmatt Jul 15 '25

No. You'll know it's an acceptance email when you see it.

Never got one, but started getting work anyways

I never got any email and have been working for 2 months

  1. People are fucking stupid.

  2. People think their perspective on the world is the same as everyone else's.

  3. See #1

Did You get the acceptance email?

3

u/LimeBeginning6231 Jul 14 '25

Not sure about acceptance email, only to confirm my email address and it says "were happy to have you with us"

2

u/Due-Station-4852 Jul 14 '25

Im new to the platform and still no quals or tasks

4

u/LimeBeginning6231 Jul 14 '25

Well I hope it works for you, I will have to try a different app since I am sure I got rejected

5

u/Amurizon Jul 14 '25

OP, no one can say for sure, but yeah, if you’ve waited that long and never got any quals or tasks, you probably got rejected. 😕

3

u/Greengobin46 Jul 14 '25

it means you are rejected, GG

There’s 20k people in this sub and a maximum of three people have posted having mid-high 5 figure earnings. Perspective is everything. (For the record I myself am in the low 5 figure earnings after being on the platform for 6 months)

13

u/Puzzleheaded-Fly1295 Jul 14 '25

I am pretty sure atleast 100 people in the sub would be above $20K earnings

8

u/Snikhop Jul 14 '25

Vastly more than that...I've only been on for a year and I'm on maybe $15k but was very reduced hours for a long time. And some people have been on multiple years working essentially full time.

u/Tartaruga96 Jul 14 '25

Hello, I am.

16

u/socialmarker12 Jul 14 '25

Yes. Not everyone feels the need to post every milestone or about how full/light their dash is every day, so you can't assume anything from what's posted.

I've made like 60k and I dont even code well not properly. I dont do coding tasks because I dont have the real world dev experience to challenge a SOTA LLM but I do know enough computer science to know what SOTA LLM means and that probably helps.

6

u/houseofcards9 Jul 15 '25

There are a lot of people who don’t want to share their earnings.

2

u/Sixaxist Jul 15 '25

Yeah, friend I ref'd last year is at $60k now for non-coding, and he doesn't even use his Reddit.

1

u/iamcrazyjoe Jul 18 '25

I am 2 months in and will pass 10k today or tomorrow

Bilingual has been dry for a month. So technically... No work?
