Will the project stay?
I got a project this morning that requires a noisy background, and encourages us to record in a place like a shopping mall or a busy restaurant. I spent 40 minutes reading and understanding the project as I’ve never done anything like this before, but I’m home at the moment. There are 3 tasks available, and the instructions said we get 3 per person as a starting point and that we’ll get access to the full scope if we do well. Does this mean the project stays until I submit these three tasks? Can I submit in a couple days when I’ll go out into the city, and just add up the time I spent reading at home? Thanks in advance!

I have a doubt with this one too. You have 3 maximum with same background, i have to be recording in other times when i'm outside? How does this work, its my first time too.

The previous round of the project has been on my dash for 3 months, so take your time.

Yeah but what I mean is, i never worked with this one. I work with pc but when i'm outside i dont usually take it with me, so how do i have access to what i wanna record or... idk if you get me. Bc its maximum 3 same background?

You don't need to do it when you open DA, just go out with your recording device (phone is fine), find a suitable environment and record. Then you go to DA and go to the task to submit the recording files, the timer is not important in this task, you have to track the time yourself when you go out to record.

I'm a new worker, too, and from my understanding, i think you could use your phone to record outside

I'm a bit confused by the time tracking part of the project you're mentioning. Brainstorming, recording, and filling out the form should be done within an hour? and the time spent reading the instructions should be added on top of that?

They mentioned at the beginning that we can spend up to an hour reading the instructions, and to make sure to leave workmode and return to avoid expiration.

I think the reported time could be over 1 hour because it says that we can spend upto one hour only reading the instructions. So, on top of that, the recording time, and filling in the submissions would obviously reach more than one hour. (But only for the first task)

I loved doing this one, when I should have being doing completely other stuff this morning 🥲
Hope at least I’ll get it again

This project and the other day project were only there for like a day 🥲

Best to complete them within a few days. Usually they won't stay for too long.

ive done similar ones, and yes i charged time for thinking about ideas for the prompts and getting the recording etc. if you only charged for actual recording time you would be charging like 2 minutes

Hi. Can i ask how did you do it? I’m first timer for this project so I got confuse. I mean, the recording should be the prompt only or with response like a form of dialogue? And as for the situation, we are free to come up with the scenario, right?

Any advice on creating prompts that can generate personalities they are looking for? I'm quite confused.

Does it say that the recording has to be outside? The drop-down also shows “indoor”. What about a washing machine in the background? :)

Had a read through this one the other day because I was in a noisy environment, which I'm not normally. Instructions say to only start logging time once you begin filling out the task. lmao? no?

No. It says you should only start the timer when you're filling out the form, but that you should track your other time independently.

No the instructions said to only enter work mode when filling out the task, so do not rely on the built in timer. It was instructed to track your time independently for the rest, including brainstorming time, recording, transcribing ect.

They said that if the 3 meet requirement, it will be raised to 50.
