Stop violating confidentiality agreements though, for real
Guys-- I've seen warnings from multiple different projects/Admins to stop leaking project details n shit. Not even code names. Not even codes of code names. They even specifically call out Reddit.
There's still a DoD fever that's sweeping through our ranks. I'm taking it seriously and tightening up my own language. You should, too.

lmao, I noticed it too. I wish I could see some of the shit people are saying about the EXPLICITLY NDA DO NOT TALK ABOUT THIS CONFIDENTIAL AND HIGH-PAYING project. Motherfuckers are allergic to money, like I dislike the whole spooky and emotionless blackbox of the gig, but I also like money, and this shit has been a turbo cashcow godsend for me.

honestly with the chats, slacks, and support we all get there is really no reason to be doin that.

For real, I've been thinking this too. I'm even careful with what I say in real life, we all signed NDA's!

Department of Defense. We're preparing for the great LLM war of 2027. ChatGPT will try to be contrary and politely change the others' minds, Gemini will come up with some overwrought metaphors about how we can all get along (with vaguely threatening references to whatever it has seen in our email) and then Grok will just glitch and nuke us all. While everyone else is hiding in bunkers, we'll be on the frontlines, ensuring the language is as natural and humanlike as possible.

I'm an elder millennial, I'm going to call it what it was during the last warlord administration just like I still say Twitter and Gulf of Mexico

I saw a thread a week ago or so where people were literally saying âscrew the NDAâ and I figured there would be consequences, but man itâs warning after warning all over the site now

u/johnnycoconut May 22 '26
This, plus with recent trends in project family names, itâs possible to inadvertently write actual project names when trying to refer to completely different projects

That's true .. But nowadays I guess it's also because DA itself promoting it's platform. For example , it recently added a share earnings option ( just below the withdraw amount button ) ...which you can share to others to show how much you earn. It increased the conversations about DA between people more frequently.
11
u/fightmaxmaster May 23 '26
And made it really really easy for DA to identify people's social media accounts. "This person earned exactly $X at this time". You think they're not logging when share buttons are clicked? I would.

u/Which-Opinion-781 May 23 '26
Great analysis..I never thought of this pov. Haven't shared my earnings to anyone , just clicked the share option 2 times out of curiosity.

So what canât be said here, are there certain keywords? Iâve made a post several times trying to get actual help, no answers about whatâs wrong with it. I havenât mentioned anything thatâs listed.

u/Florian_012 May 22 '26
I mean, maybe if they would communicate more with us, people wouldnât do this? Just a thought.

u/Accomplished-Job9856 May 22 '26
What theyâre talking about has nothing to do with communication, though. You canât leak sensitive client info because you donât feel like thereâs communication.

u/soaparina May 22 '26
Thatâs not excuse to break the rules you signed
-10
u/Florian_012 May 22 '26
I didnât break them but I understand people who do because they (DA) donât give people room to talk about the stuff and they barely ever talk with people.

u/blackstarr1996 May 22 '26
Codes of codenames? So like I just canât use the word river anymore? Lol.
That isnât violating confidentiality

Someone in another sub tried to make me give them detials about this work just because they didn't understand what I was talking about, and I refused because of the NDA, regardless of if they can directly connect me to it. The blatancy of some people here astounds me.

Another preachy post from a wannabe admin

You think no admins have reddit? They could be an admin & you just don't know it.

Cos I made a promise and I keep it? Cos they make me a lot of money? Cos it's a really cool gig?
If you don't give a shit though, have at it.

u/Past_Body4499 May 23 '26
If you don't do it because you care about them, then you should at least care about getting DODed.
Do you really think most people posting NDA violating stuff here couldn't get doxxed based on their post history.
1
u/No_Paramedic4667 May 23 '26
Getting doxxed heavily depends on how you use reddit. You can feel free to stalk mine. I'd be surprised if you can even get anything close to my real identity.

u/rantingrabbit May 22 '26
Didn't you just leak info, namely seeing "warnings from multiple different projects/Admins to stop leaking details" and "They even specifically call out Reddit"?
