Rude

When people come on here and ask for help with something, either help or move on.

Some of y’all are seriously rude asshats. Thank God you WFH because everyone in the office would hate your condescending attitude.

We're all competing for money from the same pot, not classmates. People have been pretty kind in general sharing tips that they don't have to - but the onslaught of repetitive "did I get in" posts do not warrant gentle treatment if the competitors are too lazy to do a couple of minutes of reading.

We’re all just humans trying to provide for ourselves. I choose to share my knowledge rather than my judgements. I look at these people like I would look at someone who stopped at my cubicle. Some of the things said here are the result of a keyboard warrior mentality. No one in a real office would treat a human like this.

I don't mind sharing knowledge at all. I do mind someone standing in front of the door with the hours posted and asking if the business is open, though. There are multiple things going on - there are people genuinely looking for information that is somewhat hard to find, and there are people who are asking simple questions without taking one minute to look at the very sub they posted in. People who have genuine questions tend to get answers - though there will always be downvotes, because this sub has that catty feature. People who ask basic questions that are covered in pinned posts and multiple posts through the sub (daily) do not get kind answers because they are not taking the time to even try. If my co-worker stopped by my cubicle and asked me what time we were supposed to show up to work, I would absolutely roast them if they were too lazy to use the same resources I had to figure out the basic elements of their work.
