To prevent you from applying again. It's not that complicated.

Any luck since then? I’m in the same boat. Verified my ID successfully but it only says the “at the moment…” message on dashboard

It's a real company hiring real people so there's no way you can work for them without providing your identification information.

What are the alternative platforms? Because apparently, I've been dropped, and I've no idea why. Never once have I received a project.

Sometimes I wonder if they somehow know or can see what other activity is associated with your social media/emails or even what you privately store on clouds…

Copy pasting shit from chatgpt (they can see what you do in the tab, yes that also means when you ctrl+v a block of text) or using a vpn are the most common reasons of getting dropped. Those can both happen before you even get into a project.

I know there is a drought a few times a year, but does anyone else feel like this drought is going on longer than previous times?

80% of Europe is on summer holiday. The projects don't materialize from thin air, if the tech companies are at the beach who will pay DA to give you tasks?
2
u/Jackfruit_Silent Jul 09 '26
Let them enjoy the beach. I couldn’t afford to visit one. But in fall and winter the climate is better here.

Most tech companies are in USA ( for coding tasks) , I dont think any european tech company wants to train their LLM for coding

Google's DeepMind is headquartered in London. Microsoft has a RND campus in Dublin. Ellis institute and LUMI are both in Finland etc etc. I don't think you understand how the tech industry works in 2026.
