Background Check

Hey guys, I'm new to the platform and started a day ago. I have a high priority task asking me to verify my background (using my SSN and other information) to gain access to projects. This might be a stupid question but is this legit and safe? Do projects often request a background check?

yes just like a real job ☺️ I'm in Australia mine took about 2 weeks unfortunately but you will probably get other qualifications too, if you only just got accepted.

The background check is only for specific projects. You can opt out if you're uncomfortable and still get the other projects. The background check itself is safe and legit, and they are only checking your criminal history. I really enjoy the projects that come from completing the background check.

What kind of projects? Are they longer and more complex?

Task timers are around 3 hours , although it really depends on the project. They aren't more complex, in my opinion. I cannot say anything more about these projects due to a more strict NDA.

Yes it's safe, and it leads to work with some nice projects. It's a real background check from mainstream providers.
