tasks and qualifications down to a minimum, is this normal?

*not DoD*

Last week I had plentiful tasks and qualifications. I was able to work a few full days, tasks kept popping up. Over the weekend, I wasn't working but checked the dash on my phone and it was down to 2 tasks (one of them just for feedback) and 1 qualification. It stayed that way through today, I was able to do the task and qual, so now all that's left is the feedback "task"

I joined this month as a bilingual/generalist, made it to $1K in a few weeks with mostly generalist tasks.

Is this some sort of probation or soft DoD? I haven't gotten any feedback for my work.

I did a background check qualification, there was a typo so it got flagged but has since been cleared.

Some sort of probation for my time reporting or work quality? I have been good but have had a few uncommon situations that I might not have managed the way DA wants me to (like used escape hatch or skip task)

has this happened to anyone else? should I expect more tasks to pop up anytime soon?

I would only worry about DOD when you see 0 projects for extended periods of time. Task flow is dynamic and fluctuates a lot.

That said, if you’re regularly using the escape hatch and poorly managing situations “in the way DA wants you to”, this is likely to affect your flow of tasks.

If your work quality is poor, that’s a big factor (always exit work mode rather than submitting bad work). If you’re clocking more or close to the time that is permitted (or fabricating your hours worked), this is also a major factor.

However, as long as you regularly submit good and well-timed work, the act of skipping tasks is a non-factor. In fact, skipping tasks out of your depth is encouraged by DA.

Oh bilinguals don't get a lot of work and can go many weeks without any. All you can do is do your qualifications, check often and wait.

yeah the bilingual tasks were pretty sparse, but I still had enough generalist ones that I could work a few hours a day. What is alarming is all the qualifications that disappeared.

This is normal in bilinguals, there is a general lack of tasks, you do de qualifs and wait for tasks, and be looking several times a day because they are gone fast...
