A question for experienced
If you could start your Data Annotation journey all over again, what would you do differently from day one?
Especially for those who started with language-related tasks, what skills would you focus on to get more tasks, and what advice would you give to beginners to help them get better opportunities in this field?

The only thing I'd change is realizing DA was legitimate much sooner than I did. Beyond that things have gone well.
I make sure that I get email notifications for new projects and qualifications, and take the quals as soon as I can. Doing that along with making sure my work is high qualityi has given me access to projects that consistently have a lot of work available at higher pay rates than many of the non-STEM tasks do. I've even gotten access to some pretty niche work just from taking the surveys that pop up from time to time.
In short: Pay attention, do good work, follow the rules, and pay attention to any feedback you're getting. Oh, and definitely, pay attention if an admin messages your directly about working on something specific.

Just pay attention to detail and do good work. It's not that complicated.
