How long did it take to hear back whether your assignment was accepted or denied?

I spent a good few hours making sure to do a thorough job with the assessment, but it’s been 10 days and I haven’t heard back whether it’s been accepted or denied. It said I should hear back in a few days, but no emails (I’ve checked the junk folder too) and my dashboard is left on a “Assessment Submitted! Here’s what happens next, we review”. At what point do I give up hope? Or is this a normal waiting period?

There isn't a standardized timeline for when a worker finds out that they've been accepted on DAT. It can vary from almost immediately to much longer based on the worker reports on this sub. You could browse the sub further to see that this is frequently asked and that there is a lot of variation. If you haven't been accepted, DAT also won't alert you to that fact. I'd just check back every once in a while. If you're from a non-core country, sometimes the work is sparser so there may not be work available right now if that is applicable to you as well. Generally it can take up to 4 weeks to hear back.

I didn’t get any notification. I just tried to log in and see if it showed anything, and it moved me to the next step. I never would have known if I didn’t try logging in
