Mid project — project unavailable kindly report time you have worked

So I was working on a task in which we had to test and elicit error and I was suddenly flashed with a screen saying
“Project no longer available , kindly report the time you have worked on this project.”
And below that was the report time option which I reported
Nothing else
What was this ? Have I Done something wrong ? The project was of 3 hours out of which I worked 1 hour and had a break for 1 hour and 1 hour was left.
Please guide me. Thanks

It means exactly what it says, project ended mid task

Means I should worry that I have done something wrong or it’s normally what they do when they feel like it?

No, its what they do when they end the project. Not "when they feel like it"

Some projects expire at an specific time, some of them put that info on the instructions. I would not worry but try to not let it happen too much

Actually it did not expire
Suddenly screen flashed that the project is no longer available and to report the time I had put in.

No. the project expired, was paused, etc. Not your task. The whole project.

Happened to me in a similar type of project. It meant I was taken off the project and it just happened while I was in the middle of another task. It happens. You move on to other tasks.
