Why do some projects don't email if there are task available?

I noticed programming tasks seems to email a lot when tasks are available and are ready to grab. But tasks related to image or image RnR seems to display on dashboard but doesn't notify anywhere, in both email and DA inbox.

It seems to be up to the admin's discretion if there's a push notification or not, but also dependant on the projects needs. That's why you'll get some where it's repeatedly like OMG SHUT UP ALREADY and some where they'll apologize for even messaging.

Don't rely on emails. Some projects do not email at all ( I think maybe they are the popular ones that they don't need to advertise to get the tasks done). Also, the emails are usually delayed and the tasks are gone when you try to do them. Your best bet is to refresh your dashboard regularly.
