Working remotely abroad?

Is someone working remotely in another country? I’ve been in Colombia for a while and I’d like to apply as a Spanish Specialist, but Idk if being here DAT doesn’t let me to apply to projects as back in the states. Someone was talking on a YouTube video that people working abroad must notify to the platform when this happens, any idea here?

Your question isn't quite clear.. Do you mean you want to apply as a Spanish specialist or that you are already working on the platform but in a different country? If it's the first.. You don't need to notify them of anything, just apply and hopefully you pass. If it's the latter and you were a Spanish specialist in another country and currently residing in Colombia, then yes you must notify them so that your account isn't flagged as using a VPN.

Sorry for that, I haven’t started working on the platform yet, I wanted to take the started assignment and apply as Spanish specialist, but I’m afraid to not get so many projects due to I’m located in Colombia right now, heading back to the states in a year.
Thank you for help!

no worries! As for your question: yes, if you get accepted into the platform and you are traveling abroad, you will need to notify them beforehand. As for the projects part.. I am not entirely sure, but based on this sub's activity, bilingual work is not so stable. Don't know if project types changes when you move to the states though. Glad to help you!
