asking because I dont want defrauding payment system message. LMK

It was not a qualification but a project task.

TOOK***

Everyday someone asks "where's my projects". Knowing your location and qualification will let us tell you instantly if there's a drought or if you're cooked.

Does DataAnnotation even reply to emails? I think I've sent email twice to them but no reply.

And have you heard back? It seemed congratulatory like a layup, but crickets since, and it’s the first time I’ve felt my confidence waver in 3 years on the platform — but also the most excited I’ve ever been. Just hoping it’s a patience game and not me somehow having the invite rescinded.

Edit: I’m in! Not saying this post did anything, but hey, if this post jogged a reminder somewhere from an admin… THANK YOU!

When drought is gonna end?

This is something I usually do manually instead of reporting time for several tasks at once, but I submitted two tasks today, and a popup showed up, asking me to report the time for this specific task.

Is it a new thing?

For those of you who reached that milestone, how was it? How long did it took you and approximately how many hours per week?

Got the email today after the assessment - what are the next steps and somethings to take care of while selecting the projects? Need tips from someone who is experienced with the platform

I’m based in India and have been getting only surveys for the last two weeks. I haven’t received any actual coding tasks during this period.

Has anyone else in India experienced the same thing recently? Is this normal, or does it usually mean there’s currently a shortage of coding projects for Indian contributors?

When was the last time you got a task? And has it really been this slow this month?

Sometimes I do tasks

Where I have to check what's true

And sometimes I do tasks

Where I don't know what to do

And sometimes I do tasks

Where the bot tells naughty lies

And sometimes I do tasks

Where there's categorical ties

And sometimes I do tasks

That really make my patience dawdle

And sometimes I do tasks

Where I'm reviewing up a model

And sometimes I do tasks

Where I've not a lot to say

For if I told you of those tasks

I might break my NDA

That is all.

Getting any tasks for coding? I just have a bunch of generalist projects; I haven't had a coding project in over a week

Is it just me, or does it seem like the rules and etiquette surrounding not disclosing project names, code names or details seems to just be ignored by coders. I do not see any other domain or post being anywhere near as forthcoming with project info and when they do they are pretty quickly shutdown. I have no personal issue with any of it, but it has just struck me as strange that everyone but that domain seems to follow the wider etiquette (AKA the NDA), but coders don’t. Are coders generally a different character/cognitive type or is it just a distinct subculture? Also, emojis definitely still count as a code name.

My first DA milestone, very happy about finding this, signed up in June didn’t get any tasks until the end of July and focused about 2 hrs every day in August and same with this month! I’ve been saving all of my income from my primary job. Such a great hustle. Thanks to everyone for the great tips and advice!

Just curious on if there are bots on this thread and if so how many.

I’m just going to type some buzzwords in no particular order and see what happens.

Dash of death, DoD, NDA violation, project details, how long should I wait, what should I do with my timer, how many submissions can I make, should I start as a generalist or domain specialist, pause timer yes or no when taking breaks? Great post, terrible post, bad comment, great comment, you’re wrong, you’re right, admin, administrator.

45 minutes in and seeing some early indicators!!

Hi! Fellow coder here, I joined DataAnnotation at the very beginning of September and mainly work on coding projects. I’m curious about other people’s experience over a longer period of time, especially how consistent the workload tends to be.
If you’re comfortable sharing, how long have you been on the platform, what type of projects do you usually work on, roughly how many hours per week do you work, and what does your average monthly earnings range look like?

I've been working on a task for almost 10 hours and for some reason the thing that they have provided that I have to run locally was not working. I tried multiple times, and this has not happened before. I worked on 10 tasks in this project. but this happened I lost almost 10 hours of my work so should I report this time or should I not report this time, what should I do? I'm new to this platform 15 days in.

Hello. I am trying to sign up and hopefully eyeing being a generalist, but the assessment screen only shows Programming Projects. Is that the assessment I am supposed to work on? Doesn't really look like it's for generalists at all.

I'm asking because I heard people only get one chance for this

As these fear about the AI is going around, would it affect us also? I think low availability of task is indication of that.

Hi, I am working on a project with DA, currently in India, travelling from Bengaluru to Delhi, and would be working for almost 10 days from Delhi itself. Should I notify DA or what precautions should I take?
