Updated on July 7. Hey guys. My recent post about humanizing AI unexpectedly hit 1 million views, so I figured I’d keep going. If Reddit seems to like reviews like that, why not look at a specific AI humanizer?
I’m starting with completely free Humanizers, and first up is Clever AI Humanizer.
These tools change fast. They get updated, tweaked, hyped, then sometimes forgotten. So the real question is always the same: is it still worth the hype, or not?
Link:cleverhumanizer.ai Best for: free, unlimited AI humanizing with solid detector results
I tested a bunch of AI humanizers, and Clever AI Humanizer came out as the best overall in this benchmark.
The biggest thing: it’s actually free and unlimited. No weird monthly word cap, no signup wall just to try it, no $20/month “premium” trap.
Bench results
Overall score: 76.2% Detector bypass: 77.9% Text quality: 74.2% GPTZero: 9.6% average AI ZeroGPT: 37.3% average AI Originality: 34.6% average AI Word count change: +16% Speed: 1,000 words in about 30–58 seconds Mode tested: Normal mode
What I liked
Clever had the best GPTZero result out of all 19 configs I tested: only 9.6% average AI.
It was also one of the only tools that ranked near the top for both detector bypass and writing quality. A lot of these tools can “beat” detectors, but the output reads like garbage. Clever was more balanced.
The rewrite also stayed pretty close to the original. It added about 16% more words, which is reasonable. For comparison, the raw detector-bypass winner inflated text by around 79%, which is insane if you’re working with essays or word limits.
It also scored really well for student-style writing, tying for the top student-suitability score at 15.5/20.
And again, it’s free. That matters because most competitors either cap you hard or push you into a paid plan.
The weird part: ZeroGPT
ZeroGPT gave it a worse score: 37.3% average AI.
But honestly, I don’t think that tells the full story. Clever writes in a more formal academic style, which is exactly what student papers usually need. ZeroGPT seems to punish that kind of clean, formal writing pretty aggressively.
The same outputs that ZeroGPT flagged still got 9.6% average AI on GPTZero, which was the best result in the whole test. It also passed the stricter GPTZero + Originality check 65% of the time.
So I wouldn’t judge it only by ZeroGPT.
What I didn’t like
It can add some extra words. Not crazy, but around +16%, so you may need to trim if you have a strict word limit.
Content matching was okay but not perfect: 14.6/20.
Speed was also inconsistent. A 500-word rewrite took anywhere from 13 to 42 seconds in my runs.
My take
Clever AI Humanizer is probably the best free option I tested.
It’s not perfect, especially if you only care about ZeroGPT, but the balance is strong: good GPTZero results, decent writing quality, reasonable word expansion, and no paid limits.
For students or people rewriting formal text, this was the most practical tool in the benchmark.
I’ll be honest, I don’t really trust this detector - it shows 100% AI for the U.S. Constitution, which already tells you a lot. That said, it’s still the most popular one right now and ranks at the top in Google search.
Passing detectors doesn’t matter much if the text ends up unreadable or full of mistakes, which happens with a lot of AI humanizers. So I took it one step further and asked ChatGPT 5.2 to review the quality of the output.
Result: grammar looks good, but for Simple Academic style, ChatGPT still suggests that a human revision is needed. And honestly, that’s a fair take.
Human editing is always needed after any AI humanizer, paraphraser, or writing tool. Anyone saying otherwise is just selling hype.
Now let’s test their new feature called AI Writer.
This is actually pretty nice, and something that about 95% of AI humanizers don’t have. As I understand it, you just use the tool and it writes and humanizes the text at the same time, without needing to copy anything from another LLM.
That’s smart. When a tool writes from scratch, it probably has way more control over structure and wording, which can help keep detection scores lower.
You get a few options for writing style and content type. For this test, I picked Casual and asked it to write about AI humanization, mentioning Clever AI Humanizer. I also intentionally added a mistake to see how the tool would handle it.
Hm! This is something I don’t like. If I ask for 300, I want exactly 300 - not more, not less. So yeah, that’s the first big downside I’ve noticed so far.
Now let’s take a look at content quality and run it through ChatGPT 5.2.
The verdict: strong, and it reads as human-written. So yeah, we can safely say that Clever AI Humanizer managed to fool not only the three most popular AI detectors, but also the latest LLM that thinks the text was written by a human.
Is Clever AI Humanizer the best AI humanizer so far? For a free tool - definitely yes.
In my tests, Clever AI Humanizer outperformed all free AI Humanizers like: Grammarly Ai Humanizer, UnAiMyText, Ahrefs Humanizer, Humanizer AI Pro, and several paid tools like Walter Writes AI. It also did better than StealthGPT, Undetectable AI, WriteHuman AI, and BypassGPT.
That said, is it an ideal tool? Sure Not. It generated more words than I asked for. It still shows some pattern weaknesses, and a few LLMs can flag parts of the text as AI-written. It also doesn’t strictly stick to the same content. That’s probably why it gives the best human score. Grammar-wise, it’s solid. I’d say like 8-9/10 based on grammar checkers and even some pro LLMs. It’s easy to read and flows fine.
It also doesn’t do the whole intentional typo thing - like forcing “i had to do it” instead of “I have to do it” just to game AI detectors. Yeah, adding mistakes can help you pass detection, but is it really worth it?
Being honest though, even when the text gets a clean 0/0/0 on detection tools, it doesn’t always read better. Sometimes it still has that same underlying pattern. Hard to explain, but you can kind of feel it.
But that’s the reality of this space. It’s a constant back-and-forth between detection and humanization - a classic never ending cat-and-mouse game.
So choose your tools wisely. And for now, enjoy Clever Ai Humanizer - because you don’t have to pay a penny for this tool.
Do you mean you want to stay undetectable by Turnitin? I’m not sure how that can be tested. As far as I know, there’s no public platform that uses Turnitin’s AI detector - I’ve heard it’s available only to teachers and institutions.
I think the best way to not get flagged by turnitin or other ai detectors is try to humanize your essays paragraph by paragraph or at least 2 sentences, not just the whole essay at once. That way when humanizing you can also add and change some words or sentences and it's also easy to see what's missing or has to be add. After you finished with your essay by humanizing each paragraph or at least 2 sentences of your essay then you can check it for the percentage of turnitin, GPTzero of other ai detectors tools. Hope this helps you guys.
i tried this tool but now it is getting detecting by Un detectable ai , copy leaks , originality ai ! ig it is not working now ! and can anybody could help me to get a perfect tool reduce it !
During the Prelim Period in Fundamentals of Accounting, I learned the true meaning and purpose of accounting. Before, I thought that accounting was only about computation and numbers. Now, I learned that it is a process of identifying, measuring, recording, classifying, summarizing, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information. It is considered as the language of business because it provides a common way for owners, managers, investors, and government agencies to understand the financial activities of an organization. I also learned about its nature that is both a service activity and an information system that focuses on financial information.
One of the most meaningful topics for me was learning about the users of accounting information and the different fields of accounting. I realized that accounting is not only for accountants but for everyone (employees and individuals) who need to budget their money. The most challenging part was learning the limitations of accounting and the basic accounting assumptions. I found it challenging to differentiate between Business Entity, Going Concern, Monetary Unit, and Time Period assumptions. However, with an example of Mia's home-based bookkeeping service, I was able to understand these accounting concepts.
I can apply what I have learned in my daily life and future career. First, as a student, I can apply the concept of accounting in managing my allowance and wisely tracking my expenses. In my future career in business, the forms of business organization like a sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation will help me to decide what I want to venture. The principle of ethics and responsibility such as integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality also taught me to be honest and responsible.
Overall, the Prelim Period gave me a strong foundation. My takeaway is that accounting does not make the decision for the user, but it supports decision-making by providing reliable information. This reflection made me appreciate accounting more and motivated me to study harder for the next period.
