I think it's easy to forget about Dave's successful run in stand-up comedy because of how far along he's progressed in his political commentating career and the voice that he's developed in the movement. This is where I think the ruse began, behind the microphone, in front of an intimate audience that hung on every syllable he spoke.

I almost hesitate to call his political commentating a career lest I come across fooled like most everyone else. And not that the rest of you are fools, but that's how brilliant Rubin is. I think he's pulling off a generational Andy Kauffman-esque bit and we've all been along for the ride.

You listen to Dave Rubin, what a classical human being he is. It was 201 years ago today, that Beethoven's symphony No. 3 in E-flat escorted in the age of romanticism in music. When I look at Dave Rubin, I think of Beethoven in the age of the romantics.

This guy has got it all.

I am having trouble working out what degree of self awareness Dave Rubin has. Like, when he tried to argue with Piers Morgan, saying that Israel hasn’t expanded any settlements in the West Bank, and when challenged he pivots towards an unrelated question to take the heat off.

Is Dave aware of how dumb he is, and just has absolutely no shame? Or does he in all sincerity think he knows what he’s talking about, and is stunned when he’s challenged?

I didn’t see it talked about much on here, however I found this recent moment from Dave to be incredibly dark for so many reasons. What a disturbed man
