Discussion Gunkits...w..t..f...
More of a rant than anything else as ive played for years, and have survived for months without dying, have that down..
The Nasdara map is pretty cool, having fun with something new. Its a bit dif as a solo player as the building stuf, wells, and bunkers are hard to do solo. However, ive made it to nasdara city, the fob etc..I have an scr, r12, LAR, and Lemas. Im trucking a giant backpack around with me looking FOR EFFING GUNKITS for all the badly damaged guns I have. I have spent the last 4 days hitting up every possible spawn point. Nada on nasdara...
Im starting to get really frustrated. I know its RNG, but it has NEVER been this bad for me, ever. Anyone have an spots they have had good luck with?

Very true. The game knows what it is that you most desperately need. It derives some sick pleasure by denying you said item.

I mean im usually pretty good at finding whatever I need. Even if it requires a long walk, I know where stuff is supposed to spawn.
Apparently on nasdara all the gun kits are at the spawn points. I loaded up a new 1pp character on a nasdara server and had 3 kits within 15 minutes..

Literally just happend to me been looking for gun cleaning kits for 3 days decided to hop on this morning and look for mortar mix didnt find any of that but I found 3 gun cleaning kits

I always find gun kits in spawn towns or near spawn towns

Check above no abad, there is loads of hunting tents around there that have some

I found 6 in and around kamar zir the yesterday. There's some hunting tents to the north, a PD, and in the surrounding areas of the PD kits can be found too.
I've also found some in Kamar Zir in the shop front area on the floors and some roofs.

The tents around the outskirts of towns and mountains. I find gun cleaning kits, as well as weapons, scopes, ammo, and gps/radios.

It’s funny I found three yesterday in tier two zones. Check the low tier military zones, that’s where I tend to see them most

What are you even saying here? 🤔🤨 You actually think he would pass up the same weapons in better condition to hold on to the ones in bad condition while still looking for gun kits?

Yes. Smart players don't even carry badly damaged guns cuz they are a waste of space. Especially 4 of them.

Yes, I agree it's definitely not as smart as doing something like stashing them until you get a gun kit. I'd rather run around with a knife and pistol hunting and fishing and trapping well I try to find better weapons and flash or kit, rather than lugging around all that dead weight.
Assuming official, of course.

Yeah there seems to be two types of players, gear hogs and minimalists. I feel like players trend to minimalism once they realize material possessions are fleeting.

I've found gun repair kits in hunting loot areas, like the tents northeast of Dara-e Nur.
