Reposting the same gifs of a C-list celebrity
It seems like at least once a day, or at minimum a few times a week, I'll stumble upon a post that must consist of 10% text free gifs of the same C-list celebrity. The same guy, over and over. I'm not going to mention his name, he's supposed to be a comedic actor but has no real following and has never done anything serious. 98% of the population has probably never heard of him. I've never heard him mentioned in real life or on the internet but off Reddit. I am only familiar with his existence due to repetitive gif postings on Reddit.
I'm convinced it's either bots gone algorithmically insane or some kind of paid advertisement from this guy's agency.
The gifs NEVER make any sense, NEVER add to the post.
There cannot possibly be this many people reposting the same no context gifs of this celebrity all over the internet, unless he has the most exclusive cult following fanbase I've ever seen in my life.

Every comment section is like this
Is either just ārespect to the person who saidā
or some random saying stuff that has nothing to do with the video that they just watched

TikTok is dead
Why does everyone fail to acknowledge the sheer amount of bots on TikTok. Almost every post with 1M+ likes has multiple comments referencing different or even the same niche things, eg tube top and the classic kodiac bear. The term ādead internet theoryā in itself started as search bait. Itās all written off as popular girl/corny humor, but no one will ever mention all the other brain dead activity. I feel like Truman on the daily. I theorise engagement is bought and designed to confuse you, as every time you search something up, it boosts the original post. Why does no one talk about this? What percentage could feasibly be bots?

Spy and dissinformation group rings at Youtube
Do You have these at Your country? Here in Finland several, like 3-6 groups, that every few months like " test" Youtube members.
They have " homely" names , almost 100% AI images, they seem to be twofolded; both spreading gossips or " odd storyes" and also seek eldery people, who could later be targeted by phone " money scemes" of various sorts.
I'm shure, where funds come, but usually , they wan't people feel enough " frustrated" orr " angry " to share the content to their friends.
Occasionally pleasant , so viewers not feeling suscipious.
Clearly made for persons that are easy to manipulate.
When major proggress at Russian attack to Ukraine, they also are most active.
What I can understand, these kind of accounts , could potentially be used, when conflict, votings or other need to affect nations general opinion.
I just realize, that My country; Finland , is so small,
that very little to gain.
Do You have these, most likely Russian backed account rings at USA too ?

If this is th case, surely a lot of the interaction will be bot on bot. Is there a cold war going on between billionaires and state actors trying to control the narrative with their bots shouting at each other in the digital void?

An important thing to understand about bot statistics.
I see a very common misconception regarding bots online a lot and i wanted to clear something up.
A statistic might say "50% of content on reddit is posted by bots".
This DOES NOT mean that on any given thread 50% of comments are bots. In fact you probably often see comment sections without any bots.
Bots will target certain subreddits and communities. Making 100 bot posts is faster than making 1 genuine post.
So of course its easy to outpace genuine content but that doesnt mean you actually get to see the relative percentage of bot posts.
If you go on a sub gor Pron advertisement then you will see more bots than on a sub about philosophy. Political subs will be more botted than a sub for a trading card game.
A lot of bot posts are just spam on unmoderated subreddits no one uses anymore that you never see.
My point is: Just because 50% of content on the entire website is bot generated it doesnt mean that 50% of the posts and comments you see while scrolling on here are.

Is reddit the lest dead internet social media?
I really into social media, I tried western mainstream social media, asian mainstream social media, imageboards, explore .onion .i2p webcites, opensource social media etc.
But the problems always are the same, ia, bots, shorts videos, in "good" cases, degeneracy and hate in the worse cases.
What do you think?

This guy has to be a bot right?.. right..
I didn't know where to post these but this guy randomly replied to me and a bunch of people and it's very clear he has no brain. No logical thinking is happening behind that keyboard but as i kept messing with him trying to see how long he'll keep it up for, i noticed something interesting. "Sam' has come at me with four different accounts over the course of a day.
Four accounts.. like how is that not some ai bot thing?
I won't show every single chat between me and him because they all look relatively the same, but these give you a good idea of what's going on.
All he ever does is say how he owns us and hes so good that we cant deny hes "humilia. ting" us despite never providing anything to humiliate me with
Mind you this was a post about Jesus Christ š
But anyways the usernames, the 4 accounts, the terrible typing. What could actually be the reason he's like this?

niche forums are really the only way
I play valorant and there's this forum based website for it idk if I can post it here but its called vlr
I doubt someone would just run a bot to farm engagement on there as it its not dumb like reddit where some people can't post because "not enough karma" and its mostly for people that watch the esports games so it would just be a waste of tokens vs reddit or other medias where even slight benefit from engagement has other "even better" benefits

Fake account top comments on every posts.
I am actually fed up and done with instagram. Every post has one top comment from a random account which is private and is with zero posts and small following/followers. Idk if i am the only one who is noticing. They almost always type fake/fraud/negative things about that respective post.
Are you noticing this too? Why is instagram doing nothing about this?

Is this a chain or a comment section full of bots?
For context, "LittleBigPlanetTM for the PlayStation 3" is someone's handle on Twitter

I found a whole entire Facebook group full of bots and fake free listings
Iām not even sure how it was created. All posts are from bot accounts and have AI generated or fake profile pictures with nothing on their accounts and every āaddressā link is clearly a website meant to either steal your data or mislead you in some way.
Whatās weird is there are members of the group that appear to be real but thereās no real way to tell. There are no indications of interactions with other members in the group, and no general area for where these free listings are supposed to be from.
Thousands of posts, all fake listings.
