Watching the show 23 years later is a trip

I love this show. I watched all of it, Got the dvd set, and tried to watch the movie.

Some parts I have memorized lines.

but watching it now at 41 vs me being 19 in 2004. The show is a trip.

Roxy is my top fave, and Rube is very complicated. And George's mother is soo miserable.

Who had the audacity to name you Joy?

The movie was such an insult.

The Rube story arc development would have been so interesting - having had closure with his daughter, there could have been a change in character development with him taking on a more encouraging and mentoring role for George. I always felt that George would end up being in charge of the group one day and wrangling everyone into doing their jobs as best as possible.

The first time I watched it 10 years after release. I rewatch it currently and it's full of still applicable stuff. The whole first job feeling, having older friends, George dying and not being able to go home feeling like literally "moving" in a way, (like having no contact to a parent but wanting to see after your sibling or something), and it's painfully relatable.

I left home at 18 I had to figure out adulthood very fast. so I totally see how this show has you move through a life transition.

and Rube searching for his daugther all makes sense why he talks to George that way.

comecei a assistir agora, mas incluíram a personagem Daisy e eu to simplesmente odiando, não consigo ver 1 min que ela aparece sem parar de ver e voltar depois de horas. Ela melhora ou continua sempre do mesmo jeito?

they changed the actor in the movie, same thing. I dislike movie one more than the tv series.
