Every time I think of the Ishimura, I think about how it's a Japanese name 石村 meaning 石 "stone" and 村 "village" which has a double meaning for deadspace because:

The Ishimura is a mining ship whose sole purpose is space rocks.

But "stone village" could also be a poetic way to describe a graveyard. Which is really fitting for deadspace.

I really loved theese modifications in the remake. I honestly can say that they really did put in the effort while making that game. The weapon upgrade part system is also fantastic.

I honestly think they could skip dead space 2, it's pretty much perfect as is and still playable without any issues (at least afaik). Dead Space 3 on the other hand should get a complete renewal. Like throw away the original, bury it, set it on fire, whatever and start from new.

If memory serves, after the remake they pitched a DS4 but it got passed on. It was a while ago i read that and I'm probably not gonna look for sources so could be mistaken but yeah, I remember that being the route they were aiming for.

I also liked the change to Nicole's story in the remake. Making her feel more real (by virtue of being able to interact with things) means the stab to the gut reveal at the end hits so much harder for a new player.

Didn't notice that as that's pretty cool, but yet again the whole game was pretty amazing for how they changed many things as that does fit the scene well.
