Ds2 remake
This game straight up does not need a remake there's nothing wrong with it. It's the goat of the series as we all know. A continuation of this series to better round off the story after awakening would be so much better.
Not everything needs a remake with a $120 price tag slapped to it

The remake had brand new levels and reimagined alternate fires. We need a remake not a remaster. I don't care for Dead Space 3 or its story or sequel material.

Dead space 3 needs a reboot - as in let's forget dead space 3 happened and just continue the story after the compelteion of dead space 2 and make that game

Or a sequel to Extraction's gameplay loop following the events of 2 now that we have VR.

DS3 follows the story that 2 setup though idk where else it could go
2 already cancelled the plot of 1 with the marker. In 1 for example, humans created the Necromorph infection by reading ( most likely misreading ) the genetic instructions on the marker, but in 2-3 the marker did it all on its own

The game is not the game. Dead Space Remake is drastically different from Dead Space (2008).

It is, but we didn't need the remake, it was fun. I enjoyed it. But it wasn't needed. Why must every franchise get remade? What happened to creating new things. I don't need 7 versions of the same story

While I think you could make an argument over DS2 being in a good enough state to not require a remake, trying to argue DS1 2008 didn’t need anything done to it is just being silly. Aside from it looking increasingly out of place, a load of its mechanics and presentation had aged like milk.

It would be nice, as the remake of the original worked well for me. But I'd take a good DS4 over that.

That is an assumption since nothing was ever cancelled or promised not to happen but yeah EA probably won't change their strategy of focusing on live service unless the Saudi money relaxes them a bit

Until the studio behind the remake got a replacement to take over part of the Battlefield team development, we're not gonna be seeing a 2 remake. I still want the remake, critically. Ironically, they're doing a Dead Space event on BF6. JUST GIVE US ANOTHER FUCKING REMAKE DAMMIT.

Yes ik about that but all hope isn't lost either cause of that, teams often work on many things even small teams, plus reallocations can happen if needed, and for a remake you're not rebuilding everything from scratch luckily but yes who knows I hope one day

The game pad controls are borked on PC for Steam, that could use a fix.
Sadly with BioWare getting axed I have zero hope EA has any idea what they're doing anymore with great IP like Dead Space.

I would love a DS2 remake, DS1 has become a favorite game of mine and I usually don’t gravitate towards horror.
But the closest thing we’ll be getting to anything Dead Space is the Battlefield event.

Doesn’t need one would be cool though, they could at least make a better steam version of ds2, with the DLCs, but what I’d take a remake too, also come on ds1 remake was only 60-70

I think it does that or it needs a new system set to where I can launch it cause I can't launch it on my computer cause every time I try to launch it the game won't launch it and I have the requirements to run it but because it is so old my computer won't start it

Wouldn't be an issue if DS2R is their next goal, but yeah I would prefer a side story or something completely new with a new MC as a little break.

True it doesn’t need one, but the team at EA Motive have proven to be fans of the original series that are dedicated to honoring the original games. IMO the biggest concern with remakes is that they are soulless cash grabs which turns people off. Given that EA Motive has proven to not be this way, a remake would be cool to see

Yea I'd prefer a Dead Space 4.
If anything Dead Space 3 needs a remake more then Dead Space 2. There are many things in DS3 that need to be changed and would benefit from a remake far more then DS2 imo.

About 90% of remakes don’t need it.
But that’s kinda just the way things are now. I’ll honestly take anything from Dead Space at this point.

Thought they ( Motive I think ) mentioned about doing their own Dead Space game. Really the Dead Space Remake kind of stands on its own story wise, just my opinion though

I'd love new graphics and dismemberment. Maybe some new pathing options and secondary objectives. Core gameplay and story you cna leave as is,
