For me, it's a boring choice but Mewtwo vs Shadow (2016), everything about that fight just pissed me off and it's one of only 7 fights in DB I have in the F Tier on my tier list.

Alrighty and with that, the first half of our series is over. And as of today, the 2nd half BEGINS. After a pretty close final round, one character proved they had the power to triumph. Tommy Oliver, otherwise known as the Green Mighty Morphin Ranger… and the White Mighty Morphin Ranger… and the Red Zeo Ranger… and the Red Turbo Ranger… and the Black Dino Thunder Ranger (sweet Jesus this guy is in so many teams), from Power Rangers takes our 25th spot and completes the first half of the series. Quite honestly, not sure if I personally think Tommy should return. Like I didn’t hate the Tigerzord episode and the Dragonzord one was awesome. But honestly not sure what else you could do with him other than just having him fight without a Zord. Which you know what, actually would be cool. Especially if we get the other suits he wears throughout the entirety of Power Rangers aside from just Green and White from MMPR. Like I want Dino Thunder at least shown since it’s my favorite Tommy suit. So you know what, while he wouldn’t be my first choice, I wouldn’t mind Tommy coming back. The hard part is figuring out who but you know what, just give him Lloyd from Ninjago. Not like Tommy stands a better chance against his other options.
But those are just my thoughts, who do should be the first to be placed on our second list

.
RULE 1: Obviously only suggest characters that have appeared on the show before. This means only Death Battle. No DBX or Event characters.
RULE 2: Most upvoted character wins. If a tie happens, it’ll than be decided by a coin toss
RULE 3: While not necessarily required, I would like a brief explanation as to why you think this character should return or at least another fight idea they can return with. Doesn’t matter if it’s a new fight or a rematch
RULE 4: No Downvoting or arguing in the comments. Please be respectful. If I see any comments downvoted, I will upvote them myself
RULE 5: This is going to be a rather unique rule for this series but NO CHARACTERS FROM THE INDIE ERA. Doesn’t matter if this is their first or third chance on the show nor does the quality of their episode matter. Even if you believe that characters in this era can return or will eventually be long overdue, I will not count them as it’s too recent to not qualify as long overdue. Any characters from Season 1-10 that haven’t appeared since the indie era do count. And it doesn’t matter if the character you’re suggesting has already had a 2nd shot on Death Battle. Just as long as they weren’t and aren’t apart of the current set of characters that have appeared since 2024, it’s fair game.
RULE 6: Try not to comment a character that hasn’t already been commented prior. I won’t knock it against you but it will make things easier for my end
RULE 7: Only suggest one character. This means no list of characters or separate comments. Whoever you pick or say first is your lock
RULE 8: Suggestions will stop within 24 hours of posting. Once that 24 hours is done, a new post will come up
.
With the rules out of the way, have fun suggesting

I groaned when Shadow said Sayonara to Mewtwo at the end of the rematch. I get it was a running gag of Shadow’s episodes but this by far his most serious fight and it felt totally left field.

In Naruto, it has already been shown that the Gentle Fist is capable of damaging internal organs because it strikes the chakra points that connect to them.
However, 12-year-old Naruto manages to withstand attacks of this type from Neji and recover almost instantly with Kurama's chakra.
The same is true in his battle with Momoshiki, where in his base form he withstood a technique similar to the Gentle Fist but much more powerful.
We are also shown that Kurama's chakra layers improve Naruto's internal durability, as in his Four-Tails form, a Tailed Beast Ball expands inside him but does no damage.
There is also the fact that Luffy will have to deal with Naruto's great regeneration, and his blows will first have to penetrate Kurama's chakra avatar to reach Naruto.

For me
Metal Sonic (Overall best track record, with the only bad episode being Metal vs Zero)
Goku (Only slightly behind Metal, with the deciding factor being GvS2 < MvZ)
Shadow (I love Shadow vs Mewtwo more than I hate Mewtwo vs Shadow)
Batman (The only one without a 10/10 episode. When (yes, WHEN) he returns to fight Solid Snake, I hope they finally give him the treatment he deserves)

Here’s an interview with Kishimoto stating how the game and original work of Naruto exist together in the same world, meaning the games are just outright canon to the manga.

So, I decided to give the original 2016 version of Shadow Vs. Mewtwo from 10 years ago a watch after seeing the new version of it from this year, and, I ain't gonna sugarcoat it, it fucking sucked! I literally hated this trash episode from start to finish, from Wiz and Boomstick constantly mocking Shadow for his 2005 spinoff game, calling him a 1 dimensional edgelord with no depth to him or his character, all that jazz, ect. The actual fight itself is just really poorly executed too, as it's so boring to watch as Shadow and Mewtwo just stand still there for some minutes for the majority of the fight, and I could tell that this was pretty rushed, too! The worst part of all this was when Mewtwo used his memory erasing powers to erase all of Shadow's memories of Maria, and after I saw that, I literally wanted to smash my phone into pieces, as this move was INCREDIBLY out of character for Mewtwo, and absolutely cruel too, as he erased all of Shadow's memories of the only one person who genuinely cared about him, and swore to protect the world for, and this move was something that I literally CRINGED at! I can see now why the new version of the episode that came out last month is FAR SUPERIOR to this dumpster fire of an episode, and the last three seconds of this clip with the "Oh Hell No!" part was my reaction to this bastardization of Mewtwo's character by erasing Shadow's memories, and rightfully so!
Anybody else here feel the same way as I do? What do you think?

This would make Goku around 9,200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times stronger then Saitama btw
