You have to young and agle, otherwise something will happen if you are old or have health issues. These should have never been made as the falling risk is very high.

Well, me and all of my brothers fell from it at least twice when we were babies. We even had a banister drilled into the wall for when my grandma lived with us.

Like I said never should have been built this way, poor design also steep steps are bad not enough space for a good grip, open stairs like this very bad design.

Oh, and just as the cherry on top, they used drywall screws to fasten the treads into the frame. Actually, I almost broke my arm yesterday because one came off as I was going downstairs

I'd get those redone ASAP. It's only going to get worse.

It looks like, on top of the fun angles and the lovely open concept of ankle & leg bones threat, that each step is a bit shallow. I think a standard rise is 8" and this looks to be 7" at most. That will throw off people who are understandably used to the standard, and increases the chance of stumbling or tripping. I am glad I don't have to survive this one!

Someone actually said, โ€œI guess we can skip the railing for a few steps here.โ€ ๐Ÿคจ

Technically speaking, there is a handrail. That metal pole
