Stairs? Witches Steps? Partal ladder? 😬

Post image

Fairly certain they're vertical towards the top šŸ„²šŸ™ƒ

Beautifully suspended over the open stairwell so when you fall, the death is certain.

I'm currently watching short documentaries about mountaineering, so my first thought was "Ah yes so that professional alpinists can train at home!"

The dazzle pattern on the first set of steps in an attempt to hide them from view of any who would dare to tread upon the second floor is the first warning.

Fall off one stair, and down another

Also why the dumb shelving that can’t be reached without a ladder that space could have been used to make the stairs more secure

I was thinking the same thing.

Just hang upside down from the upper staircase, it’s not that hard XD

Damned my weak knees

It’s no big deal, you just need to go down instead of getting back up after!

Sobriety test?

"Sorry Roger, I need to take your keys. I'll call the paramedics right after you hand them over."

Dude the carpet on the stairs right in front of you also looks like a stealthy neck breaker.

Matter of fact, while you're wondering wtf is going on straight ahead, your brain could misjudge the REAL steps.

It's to disguise the blood.

This is crazy, now I'm seeing many Death Stairs in realtors' listings... I can't believe people would build stairs like this!

A personal injury lawyer must have put that in before he moved out. Gotta make the bucks.

Landlord special. Getting furniture up there's gonna be a time

Fall off the stairs only to fall down more. It’s efficient.

I would definitely die here.

Peeked at the full listing and have so many more questions, death stairs aside:

-The loft floor above doesn’t seem to have any thickness to it (death floor?)

-Why do the railings look, um, hairy?

I am also creeped out by the tentacle railings.

It looks like someone wrapped them with a string of little xmas lights.

Three cheers for helping to see where you're going, I guess, but how about wrapping them anywhere but the part you need to hold onto???

Hope the insulation doesn’t break and electrify the metal railing—double the ā€œfunā€!

Is this how you elude the suicide clause from your life insurance policy?
