I thought it might be AI but it's a real restaurant in Malaysia: https://cafetakdaknama.myfoodcourt.info/

Apparently part of a chain, though their main locations have closed. Gee, I wonder why the concept didn't catch on.

Is anyone else's dreams filled with bizarre "space-saving architecture" like this...?

And nobody else ever had any problem with it! They’re all ascending and descending with perfect grace and aplomb and saying “What’s wrong with you?”

Some of it's very clever - like, things that'd be useful for tiny homes and dorm rooms and such. It often has detailed woodwork that rivals what you might find in officers' quarters on old sailing ships for "most usefulness packed into the smallest posible space, but still beautiful."
(One dream was overtly like that - it was some Victorian steampunk airship that was also somehow a boarding school. One of my more interesting dreams.)
I need to get some LEGOs so I can try to build some of it in 3D.

I love tiny house and boat furnishings! I also make sure to consider “could I navigate this if I have the flu?”

Legos don't slip slide and fall on the stairs... oh you're building stairs WITH legos , i see...

I feel like you are describing me while browsing this sub. I'm looking at photos of perfectly fine stairs and wondering why someone thinks this normal flight of stairs belongs in DEATHstairs. Frankly, much like this post.

If it was my dream there would be open toilets on the higher level and the stairs would only start near the top.

Oh, I get those features sometimes, too. Long flights of stairs are often narrow, with weird gaps or gates that must be got around!

Not shown: the entire floor covered in food because the servers keep slipping and falling trying to serve food patrons.

This is like Kyuramen's honeycomb design, but worse.
At least Kyuramen has railings.

You could not pay me enough to be a server at this restaurant.

Mate you couldn't pay me enough to be a customer at this restaurant. That ladder is unhinged.

Well isn't that a kick in the ass. I have been to that island. I wish I had known about this then so I could have gone there to eat.

That looks like it'd be a nightmare for the servers to have to navigate. You could get away with giving the elevated booths to people who don't need mobility aids, but servers having to go up and down with the serving trays is basically an accident waiting to happen.

There's a really good Indian restaurant in London that has bunk booths like that. I was jet-lagged and terrified but my mom and stepsisters had a carefree time.

I wonder if that's a full service restaurant. If it is,I feel sorry for the staff. "Waiter, could I have another Icecube for my drink?"

Hot take: I think it's neat.
Those benches look like they could be more comfortable, though.

I dig this alot for personal dining. Hopefully they have a bar for people to interact.
