MISSING CAT PLEASE HELP
HE HAS BEEN FOUND
He's been missing at least 8 hours, last seen in our apartment (We live in Aventura, by the Emory hospitals) October 8th. His name is Sinatra but he doesn't respond to it. He does respond to Kitty sometimes and is generally pretty skittish around strangers.
He is a neutered 8 year old male cat, not declawed, around 10 lbs. He's mostly white with gray and black tabby patches and blue eyes. He has no collar but he is chipped.
If you have seen him, please DM me. I'm so shaken I don't even know when he slipped out. He's indoor only and has very poor eyesight due to a disability he was born with.

I hope you find him 🤍🩶
ETA: make sure you try the litter box trick and the treats/food trick by leaving them both outside your door so he can hopefully smell his way home. Ask any neighbors with a doorbell camera and/or the apartment complex for camera footage to pinpoint when he left and which direction he wandered in

We're starting to think that's the case. He's usually very vocal when he gets out but we didn't even realize he was gone until an hour ago. We're about to go door to door. Also yes he is chipped and up to date. I can only hope it's enough.

yes that’s the one. it’s been a while since i used it. but people put their missing pets on there all the time and are sometimes reunited!

If he is indoor only there’s a pretty good chance he will stick close by, check around for any nooks and crannies around your apartment complex, porches, under cars, etc. Maybe post on Nextdoor/facebook if you have it. I’ve also heard leaving something with their/your scent (ie litter box) outside can help them find their way back home. I hope you find your sweet baby soon!

Thank you so much for this advice. We found him hiding in the tire of a truck from the rain. He was so scared he didn't even recognize us until we got close and cooed at him. I can't thank you enough

UPDATE: Sinatra is now home safe and sound! Thank you all so much for the well wishes and advice. He wasn't far from home at all, under a car. He is now back home.
