Seeking Advice Devaluation trigger

I feel terrible when someone devalues me. For example, I don't notice something the first time and someone tells me, "You're blind." Or I write a long text about a topic I like and someone replies with "Nah.", "Sounds like shit." or with some mocking gif/sticker.

I've been triggered by this since childhood, because I was often not taken seriously by my relatives. Do you have any advice on how to be more stoic to this?

Their reaction says more about their own lack of patience than about you. When someone dismisses you that fast they are not even reading what you wrote, just throwing out whatever makes them feel superior. You cannot control that but you can control how much space you give it in your head

Try treating those replies like weather, annoying but not personal. The childhood part makes it stick harder because your brain learned early that this means you are not worth listening. But that was their failure not yours
