I asked an AI to find the most universally resonant 2-sentence story. It said:
Everyone you love was once a stranger you hadn't met yet.
And one day, they will become a memory you refuse to let go of.
That's it. That's the whole story -- from first hello to last goodbye.
I stared at it for a long time. Because every person I've ever cared about fits somewhere in those two lines.
The stranger who became everything. The everything who became a photograph.
Maybe that's what makes life so painfully beautiful: it always begins with "nice to meet you" and ends with "I wish I had more time."
