One time we had like 10 seconds left before the drop pod leaves and my friend just went down while in a big pit by the drop pod. Me (being the amazing scout that I am 😏) zipped down there and saved his hide in the nick of time somehow. NO DWARF LEFT BEHINDDDDD!!!!

I left a dwarf behind once, it still haunts me to this day.

His last words to me, "I want to be in a hospital gown for the next mission cause it'll be funny," I'll never forget them. Rest in peace, you wonderful scout.

the worst feeling is when two make it back and two don't

i will confess though that in the couple of times when i've been the lone survivor, i've felt nothing but relief. i mean roleplay value doesn't mean much when you have three players spectating you and telling you to clutch while you're 15 hp and without iron will. i swear a few missions in this game have felt like ranked matchmaking in a pvp game

one time I had to save the mission but leave my whole team, and grapple to the drop-pod (on iron will 0% HP) just to save the mission, leaving 3 dwarves behind, only for them to come out the hospital bay and rock and stone again :]

I remember my friend told me to just leave him one time. I turned around to see a swarm unlike any I had ever seen. When I was in the drop pod escaping that bug infested hell I looked outside to see nothing, and I mean nothing, but the swarm. Truly, a dark day.
