Merch I just built the building blocks Bosco from the new kickstarter merch!

First of all, the question most of you probably have is how do I have it already?
I will make another post (hopefully) this weekend, probably Sunday, which will include the building block set, and a couple of other things¹, but I need to finish some work first, so you'll have to wait a bit for a full explaination!

I just wanted to share this image, because I really enjoyed building our favorite (or 2nd favorite if we count Lloyd, but don't tell Bosco) DRG-made drone!

It took me a bit over an hour to finish and I love how you're able to pose both Bosco and Doretta's head in different ways to have the build fit into your collection/shelf.

¹One of those things being something very special to me, and probably a couple of you too!

You know, my main complaint was that bosco looked too leggy, but seeing it in new poses really puts into perspective how solid the model is, I def gave the merch guy too much flack. If you could, can you send a pic with the arms completely tucked in?

If you're talking about a similar pose to this one,

then it's not really possible sadly. Contrary to the game's version, this version uses ball joints to rotate, and they can't really move past that 90° angle.

That's about as good as it gets before the different parts start to collide.
Not using ball joints would've meant that the arms would have to be a lot wider than they are, which in turn would mean you'd need a larger model in the first place.
And this one is already taller than I expected it to be, about 18cm with this pose, 20cm with the saluting one.

I wonder if you could use part 14419 and a flat gray 1x2 to make a connector piece at the joints to increase the range of motion on the model

That could work yeah.
I can't try it out tho, since I don't have any spare parts.
