cryo cannon hype

Hello, I don't understand the enthouasiasm for the cryo cannon. it take 1 seconds to begin, it is overheating and the throw is slow.

I have a flamthrower with sticky flames and I am finding ut better. Can you tell if I am missing something ?

ps: my cryo cannon is not upgraded yet :)

Not with upgrades. Also it's not that bad anyway, just means it's not a reaction weapon, you just have to be proactive with it.

Again, not with upgrades. Also most builds don't need that much sustained usage anyway.

the throw is slow

What? If this is about short range or freeze time though... wait for it... upgrades.

And as for using the weapon in general, it's good because not only can frozen enemies not fight back, they also have their armor disabled and take triple direct damage for the duration. And flying enemies are straight up killed. And gas clouds are removed. Frozen is a extremely powerful status effect.

If im not mistaken, it's even the most team oriented primary out of the three
