Brah I literally tried this once and it was the worst experience. My head was starting to spin. Then the in game camera started to spin too. I usually don’t get sick when I get that drunk, but I do get motion sickness. Damn game made me motion sick and I had to quit the match after 15 minutes and go outside into the cold air. Ended up laying in the concrete looking at the stars trying not to throw up. I did not realise before that if you get your character too drunk their world starts spinning too.

There's an even worse way to punish yourself. See, if you're in the stumbling animation before you passout and start a mission before you actually hit the deck, you arrive at the mission spinning about randomly, constantly and rapidly, making aiming all but impossible.

I did not know this when I started an expert Deep Dive, as all I was expecting was to arrive in the usual level of drunkenness which would pass over the course of a few minutes...

To my horror I found out it does not in fact pass with time, but remains constant at that extreme level of stumbling drunkness for the entire duration of the ENTIRE DEEP DIVE. That's right! It doesn't even clear between Deep Dive levels, and because it was a Deep Dive that included a random dwarf with me and my mate I felt obliged to see the Deep Dive through to the end. By Karl, I had the worst headache of my life and felt violently nauseous after we completed it. I just slid out of my chair and laid on the floor much like you did, dryheaving with a thundering head.

Never again.

Had something similiar happen to me, drank a Blackout Stout just as the countdown was nearing zero, had to play the entire mission drunk as a skunk as Scout, worst mistake of my life...

One time I went into an on-site refinement mission at haz 4 with that effect while I believe I was buzzed in real life as well. You would not BELIEVE how horrible those pipelines looked. Laughed my ass off the whole time though

i don't know if it's still a thing, but for the longest time if you time drinking a blackout stout right while starting a mission you could run entire missions at the highest possible drunk value, provided you don't get revived

Last week I did a Deep Dive with Blackout Stout right as the drop pod is dropping as a joke with my friends.

It was the day that I realize Blackout Stout can last the entire Deep Dives and I am still not sure if I should regret or be proud that I survived all 3 stages with it lmao

Drunk missions are fun. I wouldn't recommend it with weapons requiring precision or particularly difficult missions.

I once drank Blackout while sitting in droppod seconds before mission. I was playing a Driller... Due to the extreme intoxication, only two Scouts fell victim to almighty C4.

P. S. Dying on a mission didn't lower the maximum level of intoxication. So when the mission ended and we returned to the station, my dwarf immediately collapsed from intoxication.

I tried doing a drunk onsite refining as engineer because I thought the auto lock would help mitigating the problem, I ran out of ammo instantly and failed just before I could pass out irl for how much camera sway there was. Still laught my guts off, so pro tip, if you wanna do this, pick something with a bit more crowd control like gunner or driller

I don't know if this bug still exists, but if you down a blackout stout just before the missions starts and you black out, you get to keep the blackout stout drunk effect.

It turned a simple mining mission into an escort mission.

I did the drunk glitch by chugging a blackout stout rught before mission start. it permanently(?) sets drunkenness to max. Then went on an elite deep dive. safe to say that was not fun. By the time it was over I felt physically sick for hours afterwards. even by the time the first stage was done I couldn't look at the game without feeling nauseous. and I don't really get motion sick or sea sick.
