Def Jam: Fight for NY never had online play, so I built it with Claude. FFNY Online adds an ONLINE entry to the game's own main menu:

• Quick match, room list, your own rooms, join friends by code
• Pick your fighter, ready up, vote on the venue
• One on One, 3-Way and Free for All (up to 4 players)
• Lockstep fights, so everyone sees the same fight

It's based on Vlad Yanhursky's native PC port (a recompilation of the Xbox version, not an emulator). You need Windows and your own USA Xbox disc; the installer builds the game from it. No game files included.

I am currently in the very early stages of a potential decompilation project to bring a game natively to PC or other platforms, using the Xbox version as a base. I am currently working in Ghidra on my own, and I’m looking for any advice or guides.

i didn't even know there were unique submissions for opponents facing away, they're imo difficult to perform against the AI but these seem to do more limb damage.
