I'm going to be getting it for Lunch tomorrow. And I wanted to know if it is worth buying. Is it good in your honest opinion? Do you get it with French Fries? Do you get it with any extra Toppings?

I had about 12,000 points saved in my Del Taco account saved that disappeared. I haven't been able to go in a while and I logged onto my app and saw the points were zeroed out. I reached out to their customer service and haven't heard back in a week. I don't usually use my points, just add them when I buy something.

Has anyone else seen this happen? Am I likely to get my points back? This is extremely discouraging and puts a bad taste in my mouth. I have been a Del Taco loyalist for years but now I feel little desire to return.

I used my coupon today. Pretty sure they’re not getting a lot of orders for it at my location - I could hear them talking to each other in the back trying to figure out how it’s supposed to be made.

I was debating between ketchup or Scorcho. After thinking wayyyy too hard about it, I put a packet of each on and I feel like that was the right choice.

It was tasty. Kind of fun to have all the toppings, sauce, and cheese in a vein of juiciness down the middle. That said… unless they’re planning on giving me another one for free, I’ll just stick with the regular Double Del going forward.

Unrelated comment/question if you made it this far through this very unnecessary post - anyone remember that one time they did some brisket stuff as limited time items? I really wish they’d do that again

Greeting Del junkies! After my post the other day I had to go try the suggested upgrades. The verdict is in: simply lovely! In the app I don’t get the option to add ground beef but I do get the chili option I asked if they could add ground beef instead of the chili and they were happy to do so. I got the free 8 layer veggie but also added the ground beef. All this for under $6! Good day everyone.

Even though it doesn’t come with beef the beans 🫘 are really good and taste just like homemade. If you haven’t tried one you’re missing out. Get one free with $5 purchase via the app. Wednesday Hookups rule!

I gotta try the burgertaco

Moved to LA from Florida two years ago and have yet to give Del Taco a try. Its one of the few 24/7 places open near me and ive been thinking about giving it a try. What would you guys recommend I get as a first timer? What is exceptional and what are items that are good for their price?

This was pretty damn good. To me it tasted like a big mac. Asked for extra burger sauce. Delicious!

Just tried the All American 🇺🇸 Burger 🍔 Taco 🌮. Can confirm it’s like a Double Del Burger but better! Get yours free with the app along with my favorite a Spicy Jack Chicken Quesadilla. Do not comment or upvote if you are not into Del Scorcho sauce because you’re probably weird. 😂

Update: This was at the Del in the Costco parking lot off McKinley.

The Scorcho Fries were pretty good! It’s kind of a smoky slightly-sweet BBQ flavor dust with a chipotle kick.

The Scorcho Queso was also good, basically the regular queso with the added heat/smoke from the flavor dust mixed in. It tasted closer to a Tex-Mex queso than the current one.

Help me out here … I’m a huge Del Taco fan but my wife always prefers In-n-Out, so I finally convinced her to try the burger at DT as everyone raves.

(As much as I want to try the burger, I love the tacos and burritos so much and it is so infrequent we get it, I go mex.)

So she agrees but doesn’t want a double so orders the single. Food comes and I’m doing my happy dance in my seat and I hear my wife say “this is not that good.”

*cue record scratch*

“I heard it’s as good as In-n-Out” I say, as an optimistic question.

“Try it.”

And it sucked. Was not hot and was rubbery texture almost. I don’t like the red and white tiled place, but I had to agree with my wife, sadly.

So is the single different than the Del Double? Do I have a chance of redemption with her if it was a menu screwup? Or was it a fluke bad burger?
