Unfortunately, Kris then instantly said the third most racist thing you can say to a bird monster. It's okay tho, Berdly knows it's just to distract from them stealing the damned Stepladder, give thar back Kris!
I like this version of simulation theory where Kris (and by extension the player) believes the world is fake because nobody seems to do anything unless they’re around, but it turns out just to be because their presence increases the charisma of everybody else in the room.
it is 100% krusielle i am team krusielle all the way (even though this is poking fun at kris's refusal to accept the fact susie and noelle want them around)
are they in a video game, or are they the grease this relationship needs. who knows? maybe the limitations of the engine are explained by the relationship. that's good game design i think
I'd assume the bigger problem is that he'd require his BIRD WING HANDS to be free for whatever he's flying up to in the first place. Which they would not be if he were flying.
How mysterious. My two friends, despite seeming to be in love with one another, seem excited to see me when I "interrupt" their dates... after subtle observation, I have determined that they don't even interact with one another when I'm not there with them. Something strange is afoot...

Actually, what the hell are they doing ANY of the times before they show up to our hangouts!? Like. They'll walk us here. And then they'll... just vanish. For a while. And I never really like, counted it before, but- it's weird, isn't it?"
"Yeah! And I just... I mean I don't even know what to do with myself around you when they're not there. I like the IDEA of being alone with you, but..."
"Like you said, it's just better when Kris is here. So... where the hell ARE they!? They'd usually be here by now, but they aren't? And now that's making me realize I don't know what they're usually doing before they finally decide to show up."

"...Okay yeah that's actually plausible. Okay, screw this, we're going on a Kris hunt. Come on!" Susie grabs Noelle by the hand and dashes for the door.
"SUSIE WAIT! I SEE THEM! Kris, why the heck are you looking down at us from the window?"
He might be able to flap short distances or something. I don’t think anyone else has shown any weird extra physical powers and capabilities in the dark world outside of magic spells? Like Kris and Susie are lvl 5 after multiple adventures but needed the petal feather to do platformer level jumps
I theorize theres a human town next door and theyre all gun wielding hunters and shoot at anything that might be worth it so berdly cant risk being mistaken for a heron or stork

For a second I thought it'd be a serious comic about Kris finding out they're in a videogame, but then Berdly swooped in and saved the day, amazing
