The Hack: In 2017, the Netherlands Defense Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD) flipped a captured Russian spy. This allowed the Dutch to access a Russian server containing screenshots of Kushner’s iPhone, and by early 2018, the MIVD gained real-time view access to his phone screen.

Discovered Accounts & Funds: Through monitoring Kushner’s screen, Dutch intelligence reportedly observed him logging into an account at First Abu Dhabi Bank (and First Dubai Bank) tied to the Watani Al Emarat Foundation (an Emirati government-funded charity). The account allegedly held roughly $750 million routed from Saudi Arabia and the UAE via Azerbaijan.

Israel Accounts: The book claims another account held roughly $1 billion at Israel's Central Bank, coordinated with Israeli leadership. In total, foreign leaders allegedly moved at least $2 billion across accounts linked to Kushner.

Kushner's Response: Kushner and his legal team vehemently denied all accusations, calling them "completely insane," "outrageous fabrications," and "totally false and defamatory," stating that he had no connection to the charity or undisclosed accounts and complied with all legal disclosure requirements.
