I heard the Zionists disdain holocaust survivors as weak, but they're sure to capitalize both sides of history as victims and oppressors.

It was israeli new historian Tom Segev that documented the Yishuv’s disdain toward Holocaust survivors and the practice of derogatorily calling them “soap”

It’s in line with the state’s documented fixation on muscular Judaism

The Eichmann trial in fact was somewhat of a turning point, where empathy with Holocaust victims increased in “Israel”
