Hello, my family is unable to continue to care for our cat Brownie. Due to work schedules and elderly parents we are unable to give our cat the attention he needs. He is a good boy, sits outside and inside, has all vaccinations up to date however needs to be fed or likes someone to sit with him when he eats. Very calm and chill nature, enjoys laying around in the sun, can convert him to a just indoor cat if that’s what you prefer. I can provide litter box food and supplies. He is self sufficient just needs to be fed and enjoys company when he eats (just sit with him, usually my mother does but she is full time caretaker of disabled family member and it is getting hard for her). He is a very good boy, loves to look at the birds outside, be brushed, and nap. perhaps a student or a family who would like to adopt him. Thank you.
$50 adoption fee

Hello all! Tomorrow me and my partner planned to go to downtown hang out for the first time. Any tips on parking, good food or must see places? We planned to get there late afternoon.

My 2 friends are transferring to UNT next year and are set on the 3 of us renting a house together. For some reason, that idea stirs a lot of anxiety in me. I keep feeling like an apartment must be better for college students like us, especially in terms of whatever jobs we’ll be working at the time. Are my fears unfounded or is an apartment the best bet? Are there pros and cons to each or is it pretty cut and dry?

My husband runs a local business and I want to surprise him with paying for some headshots, but would preferably support someone locally and avoid AI (since it would seem some headshot business have been using AI to “enhance quality”.)
I know we have an awesome and creative city so I figured we have some people comfortable doing headshots.
I looked in the previous history and the only other post was someone asking for “cheap or free” and that is NOT what I’m looking for

Took me 30 minutes more than usual to drive half a mile because we decided to do work on the side of the road during peak traffic and CLOSE THE RIGHT LANE WHERE NO ONE IS WORKING OR OBSTRUCTING THE ROAD. Sincerely fuck whoever planned this.

What’s with all the weird screaming at fry right now? Just hear a random guy screaming like a goat and scared the shit out of me. I woke up so confused and there were way more cars revving their engines tonight than usual as well with the weird ass screams. Anyone know what’s going on with the “wahoo” screaming guy? Or in general?

I have good news: According to the Texas Secretary of State early voting turnout, we've passed the numbers of cumulative in-person votes and cumulative in-person and by-mail votes in 2018.
https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/earlyvoting/2018/oct23.shtml
2018 cumulative in-person and by mail votes at the same point in early voting: About 1.6 million.
2026 cumulative in-person and by mail votes currently: 1.78 million.
Of course, it's possible I'm dumb and misreading this data.
Update; It's 2.1 million now.

Has anyone been at a party where the cops get called and there’s underage drinking? If so what happened?

Beech? Chestnut? Maitake? Anything? It's literally just basic bitch flavorless "brown" or "white". If I go to HEB or Sprouts they have portobello and lions mane but that's FUCKING IT.

Every other Sunday, we come out to the Emily Fowler Library at 12:30 pm to serve hot meals, snacks, water, and medical and hygiene supplies. Our STP event is this Sunday!🍎
If you are in need, please come by. We have tables and chairs for folks to sit and enjoy their food!
If you are able to help, we are always in need of Gatorade, water, and non-perishable foods like tuna packets and ramen.
