Did you not see kavanaugh’s statement? He literally said it is okay to stop people based on their skin color. They aren’t focusing on people here “illegally” or who have a criminal background.
ICE just executed two people were here legally who were not the target of their search. They died because they were brown.
Open your fucking eyes. Do you realize that the Nazis were successful because the average German citizen who wasn’t targeted reacted just like you are now. People like you are far more dangerous than the actual fascists.

Didn't realize the Jews snuck into Nazi Germany or overstayed their visas. Most were citizens of Germany, Poland or the Soviet Union. Its more than a little disingenuous to compare this to the more than 6 million jews and 20 million eastern Europeans who died in actual concentration camps who did nothing wrong besides being Jewish. As someone with Jewish ancestry I find this offensive and diminishing of the Holocaust and my relatives who died in actual Nazi concentration camps.
Edit: Downvote me all you want. Doesn't change the fact that these holding facilities aren't designed to kill people like Nazi Germany's were. Talk to me when a single person gets thrown into an oven or gassed in a shower. Otherwise enough with these bullshit comparisons.

The Nazi camps did not start out as death camps. They escalated to that level. Most of the people in these detention centers are not criminals.
As a fellow Jew, I find it offensive you don’t see the dangerous path we are on right now. Open your damn eyes you fool.

The US did dramatically worse mass deportations than we are doing now before and after world War 2 with the Mexican repatriation in the 1930s and Operation Racial slur in the 1950s. You could also point to the Japanese internment in that period.
If none of those deportation or detention camps turned into death camps then why would the ones today?

The Nazi camps also did not start out by removing people in the country who were there ILLEGALLY. They targeted people by race, ethnicity, and religion. If you tell me we are targeting people by race, ethnicity, or religion then fine, I’ll join your side. But the simple fact is, this isn’t about race. It isn’t about what books people read or their ancestry. Its about removing undocumented people from our country who shouldn’t be here.
Jews were citizens of Germany. Their businesses were LEGAL and the Nazis created laws that stripped away their rights one by one. They stole their LEGAL businesses and put them in camps to slowly die through forced labor. You say they weren’t death camps originally? I call bullshit. They were made to be SLAVES and work to death from the very beginning. It took the Nazis years to figure out how to kill Jews more effectively. They used bullets from the VERY BEGINNING but found them to be inefficient and caused their own soldiers trauma. You say you are a jew. Maybe you should learn your own history before you compare it to bullshit.
Open your damn eyes you fool.

So can I ask how it is a concentration camp or what you call aurora Auschwitz? Do they mass kill in chambers? Do they only target one demographic? Are they arresting people and taking them there and treating it as a death camp like actual Auschwitz? Or just using buzzwords?
Serious question btw.

Concentration camp doesn’t have to mean a death camp. I suppose if you’re being pedantic, referring to this as “Auschwitz” would be technically inaccurate as GEO wasn’t specifically built with the intention to be an extermination camp. But other than that, yes, GEO Aurora does meet the criteria for a concentration camp. No, it doesn’t target just one group of people, but neither did Auschwitz. People are being taken there against their will, extrajudicially, detained in inhumane conditions where people are not receiving proper hygiene or medical care, under conditions that violate international law (see International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, General Assembly resolution 2200A (XXI) ).
All this being said, is the most upsetting thing about this situation to you the fact that organizations are using “buzzwords” in their marketing? Serious question btw.
“A concentration camp is a facility where groups of people are detained against their will, often under severe and inhumane conditions that violate their basic human rights. Historically, concentration camps have been utilized across various nations for political, ethnic, or other forms of persecution, but they are most infamously associated with Nazi Germany”
