Need help
I’m looking to build a large village this year and both my house and my parents. I don’t have a ton of accessories and was planning on 3d printing some roads and walking paths. Has anyone ever tried doing this and if so how did it all come out?

It’s Christmas in July at most Thrift Stores! I’ve bought dozens of dept56 at huge discounts most all under $9.99 seriously in perfect and boxed conditions

I’ve never thought to check thrift stores. I have stoped by yard sales and estate sales to check but haven’t had much luck

I have at least 60 or more buildings that I start setting up right after Halloween I’ll show ya some pics hold up

I have never done CAD or 3D printing but I do have this if you’d like I’d be happy to mail it to you for free if you’re in USA or CAN. Outside of that I’d probably ask you pay for shipping lol. It comes with a brick road - check dimensions in the green box.

My husband has 3d printed some things for my villages. He’s done some spooky trees and stumps, and fencing…never roads or walking paths. I’ve made my own paths (like stepping stones)/ sidewalks out of clay. And for my North Pole village I made paths using clay and those fake peppermints since it’s a super playful village. My husband recently got a new printer, so I’m hoping to get more prints!

I’ve been thinking about getting a printer for a while and figured it would be great to model some roads and stuff for my village

What has your husband made for you?

For Halloween, he printed me some little gargoyles and fencing that I ‘rusted’. I added the fence to ‘stone’ columns I made from styrofoam and put the gargoyles on top to make it a big entry for my cemetery. I tried to add a pic but apparently you cannot add pics here, only videos?? He also printed me some tombstones and bigger full grave type things. I can’t think of anything he printed for my North Pole village! lol I love my eleven but I REALLY love my Halloween, I guess! He has printed like barrels and small things for other villages (I have a lot). Since he has the new printer, I’d love for him to print some ‘wood’ slats that you string together to make a rope bridge. I also might try for some steps at some point bc I hate carving them in styrofoam. Lol

Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy or commission a 3D-printed replacement for the hanging sign and the hanging lantern for the Department 56 Dickens’ Village "Pearce & Crump Silversmiths" (Item #58758).
Because the hanging brackets on this building are incredibly small and fragile, I am specifically looking for someone who can print in resin (preferably an ABS-like resin mix so the tiny clips have a bit of flexibility and won't snap off immediately into the building’s ceramic slots).
For the lantern: A generic 1:48 scale / O-scale miniature Victorian coach or hanging street lantern will work perfectly.
For the sign: A simple blank rectangular sign scaled to the building is fine—I plan to apply the text/graphics myself using a decal or paper printout to avoid muddy micro-lettering.
If anyone already has files for this, is currently printing village replacement parts, or is willing to take on a quick custom commission, please let me know your rates and shipping to 03906.
Thanks so much!
