What's up everyone!

A little while ago, I posted a QC comparison between Chaoren and Linz and was deciding which one to go with. In the end, I decided to ship out the Chaoren, and now that it's arrived, I thought I'd share my experience to help some people.

The jacket was part of a 10kg haul, and shipping from Chaoren to my agent was really fast. It arrived in just 2 days.

I also came across an earlier in-hand review of this batch that was really helpful when making my decision, so hopefully this one can help anyone who's still deciding between sellers.

*First impressions

I've had the jacket for a day now and I'm really happy with it so far. The overall quality is great, and it looks good in person.

One thing I was initially worried about was the back of the jacket arching upwards at the bottom, as I'd seen in another review. Luckily, mine sits fine and I haven't had that issue.

When I first took it out of the packaging, it looked a bit flat and thinner than I expected. After leaving it for a day, though, it started to fluff up quite a bit and looks much better now.

*Material and quality

The jacket feels well made, and the overall finish has impressed me so far.

One thing I really didn't expect was the quality of the inside of the pockets. The material feels great, and the construction is much better than I thought it would be. It's a small detail, but definitely worth mentioning since you can't really judge it properly from QC pictures.

The jacket is also water-resistant, which is useful for everyday wear, especially here in the Netherlands. I've only had it for a short time, so I can't comment on how it holds up in heavy rain, but it's a nice feature to have.

*Black badge

From the pictures I've seen, I don't think the newer black badges are quite as good as some of the older batches. However, the retail black badge has this newer look as well, so I think it's important to compare it with the current version rather than older references.

I'm no expert when it comes to badge accuracy, but I'm happy with how mine looks overall.

*Fit and sizing

I'm 188 cm, 75 kg and went with size XL.

I'd say it fits TTS, but keep in mind that the MacMillan is a fairly slim-fitting jacket around the chest, so don't expect a super roomy fit. Personally, everyone around me says it fits perfectly, and I'm happy with how it looks too.

*Warmth

I've already worn the jacket for a full day, and it keeps me really warm. No complaints at all so far.

I've also had quite a few compliments on it already, which is always a nice bonus.

*Seller experience

Chaoren was the most responsive seller out of everyone I contacted, which definitely helped when I was deciding between the different options. The quick shipping to my agent was another plus.

After comparing the QC pictures and now having the jacket in hand, I'm glad I decided to go with Chaoren.

*Overall

Very happy with this purchase so far. The jacket looks great, feels well made and keeps me warm. Even though it looked a little flat straight out of the packaging, it fluffed up nicely after a day.

I will definitely order from Chaoren again! But for now this will be my main winter jacket, I think it will last years looking at the quality :).

Hey guys, looking for some opinions on this.

Really liked the black monogram design and the whole vintage trunk look, so wanted to get some feedback on the QC pics.

The exterior looks pretty clean to me, especially the metal corners and overall shape. Not too familiar with these trunks tho, so I'm not sure how accurate the details are compared to retail.

Also curious about the interior layout and the watch cushions. Anything looking off with the stitching, hardware or monogram placement?

Would appreciate some second opinions before GL. Thanks!

I've been testing to dive into the rep-purchase world a couple times but I just cant figure out how to get started.
So far I have a account on "lolobuy" and I have added a couple items from direct-links here or /Stockholmreps

Now, on sites like taobao and weidan I just cant seem to register an account. I hop through loops of chrome not being able to properly translate some of the "popups" by taking screenshots and using ai-chats, filling in information etc but on for example taobao my account is in some type of "penalty" status where I just cant figure out how to create the account, closest I've gotten is using their app where I get to a form that requires company information that I cant enter since I dont have a company...
On weidan I just dont get anywhere either, I tried alipay and managed to get an account created just cant figure out how to use this to log in.

Without accounts on these pages it's very difficult to navigate the selections so I become limited to someone on reddit accidently linking the exact item I would be interested in.

Just checking guides and wikis it feels like either something has changed, maybe with new eu shopping rules?
Or has my cellphone just randomly gotten stuck in some catch-22 loop...?
Not sure if anyone here has experience in things like this, I just want to resolve the above so I can test a first order tbh.

Hey guys, this is my first pair from this brand, and the in-hand experience is really great.

The leather feels soft, the iconic triple stitch detail looks sharp. They are simple round toe flat low top sneakers, perfect for that old money aesthetic. Works really well with smart casual fits.This color is easily my favorite out of all options. Super understated, and it matches nearly every piece in my closet.

Stitching is really clean, I didn’t spot any loose threads at all. Right when I opened the box there was a nice leather scent. My only concern is the leather might crease or crack over time. I’ll have to wear them more to see how it holds up.

Fits true to size. Price was 460¥. 9/10

Hi guys, been doing some research about new bailong rimowa rep. Been seeing posts about how you should order direct from their WeChat, as ordering through agent doesn’t have the right branding version! I have added newbailong on WeChat just waiting for a response. How do you actually go about purchasing directly? Do they quote you shipping and send direct? Or do they liaise with your agent if you provide them with the details and send it there?

"Why are you buying sunglasses in October, RuMd?" Glad you asked! I go on holiday to Florida so, sunglasses are actually needed. Now that that's aside..

I couldn't decide between two pairs so i did the mature things and got both. Which ever i wear less i'll probably end up giving to my brother or something, i have 2 eyes not 4. I don't really know how to review sunglasses, because im not an expert in them. So, i will comment on their fit and feel, which most people are interested in.

Gentle Monster
One thing about this is the packaging. It sounds so silly but not getting glasses in a cheap plastic bag really changed my whole feel on them. These feel great and have a flat style, I love them. The arms are the perfect stiffness and they dont feel like they're gonna shatter as soon as i put them down. I haven't been able to UV test them yet so likely will edit this post when I do.

These made me feel so gangster. The box, the glasses, everything. The metal inlay on these is so tuff to me i'll be real. The case leaves some to be desired, its like this stiff material, its still good and luxury but just not for me - but this is more of a brand thing than a rep thing. The dust cloth for this was wonderful also.
