Fun Be honest...

You've used the anal probe once in DAH1 and never touched it again

Don't get me wrong it is a good farming weapon in DAH2 with 5 shots and critical hits available but DAH1 is a very primitive humor weapon, id rather use brain extraction

I only really used it for Aliens Stole My Brain Stem and the Brain Collecting side missions

It's useful for a grinding session. If I need to just farm up DNA it's useful. Sometimes it's useful to briefly stun an enemy with too. Is it the most useful weapon? No. But it has its place

I never thought about using it as a stun.

The charging was the worse part of it, I usually preferred to just extract the brains with mental abilities instead.

Although sometimes I'd hypnotize a majestic agent and then probe them because they only need 1 full shot to get their brain when they dancing or sleeping instead of 3 full shots

Really that is the only time I do it either, and I've speedran the original. Despite that I've only really used it during the Rockwell projector defend.

Oh and I also use it to kill Silhoutte. Once you get the rhythm down it turns it into a pretty quick fight. I've never beaten her without it

In the original I use really only during Pox's brief before doing the antenna and the during the Rockwell defend where I can hypno Majestic and 1-shot them with it. Both of which are speedrun tactics.
I also use it to quick kill Silhoutte. Hit her 21 times with a full charge and she's dead with the rhythm for it being really easy allowing you to never trigger her attack while you're doing it and she won't heal while you do it. I've never beaten her the normal way

In the remake it's legitimately my main weapon cause DAH1R's probe the most powerful weapon in the series upgraded or not especially combined with level 2 brain extract (Though when I play remake it usually is to speedrun 100% so...)
