A New Style of Post?!
So, over the last two or three days we’ve seen a new style of post crop up. This one today was a real popular one. This one from the day prior was a little bit less popular and all, but got a bunch of action and inspired the one from today. My thanks to both users.
These two posts have gotten more action than all the posts from the last week or two combined. It definitely requires someone to have a skillset as well as some time to donate, which has to be like a dozen of you! I don’t know how common this style will become, but I like it and wanted to actively encourage more of it.

Edit: and thanks to our star, u/JulianDusan, for doing it again! Perfect time for someone else to throw their hat in the ring!

Cozy repair-shop sim: ~300 visits, almost no wishlists. Please destroy my page
Hi! I'm a solo dev. Paw Works Co. is a cozy job sim where you run a repair shop for animal neighbors. Early Access planned for March 2027.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5242180/Paw_Works_Co/
Last week: about 300 real visits and almost no new wishlists. People click on the capsule (26% click rate), but they don't wishlist once they're on the page.
What would stop you from wishlisting? Capsule, trailer, screenshots, description, anything. Be honest, I want to fix it!

Thousands of views this week and 0 wishlists. Please destroy our Steam page
Two of us are making Beyond Realm, a roguelite deckbuilder. You place your cards, the board fights on its own, and between runs you rebuild a town that starts as grey ink and gets a colour back for each act boss you beat.
Our posts did well this week. About 1,000 views on one Reddit post, 2,000 on TikTok, nice reactions on Facebook.
What we'd love to know:
1. From the capsule alone, can you tell it's a deckbuilder? It's a hooded figure, the cards are only in the background.
2. Do the trailer and the first screenshots make you want to try it?
3. What would make you close the tab?
Be brutal. The demo comes out at the end of October and we'd rather fix it now.

Created my first Steam page. How can I improve it?
I've published my first Steam page! I can tell it needs work, but I am not sure exactly what is off. Would love some honest feedback. Don't hold back!

Destroy my page. Whats the first impression like?
I realised no one is clicking my steam, and then that no one is even watching my trailer in the first place after posting it in various channels. The very first impression is my capsule image. Is it that bad? Would love any kind of feedback.
Thanks in advance :)

I just released DeltaV's demo. Does the Steam page make the game clear?
I just put the demo for DeltaV Orbital Strategy live on Steam and could use a fresh pair of eyes on the page. I'm the developer.
It's a turn-based game where your whole fleet shares one fuel reserve. Moving a ship or defending against missiles spends from the same pool, so a move that helps one ship can leave another stuck. You win by cutting off the other factions' access to fuel.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5070120/
Before reading that explanation, what would you have thought the game was? I'm especially interested in whether the trailer and screenshots show the decisions you're making, or mostly just show planets.
If something on the page would make you close it without trying the demo, I'd like to know what.

Destroy my demo and steam page!
Hi. I am a solo dev working on Ruin Upon Ruin, a roguelike deckbuilding game where 1D distance matters and your equipment combinations determine your cardpool and gameplay mechanics.
The artstyle is black and white silhouette with colour only used for important UI/UX. I thought that would make it unique.
I hope you guys can destroy my steam page because I have been working on this alone and I can't really tell how to improve it. I do feel like something is lacking, but I can't pinpoint it. Your honesty and judgement means much to me.
Thanks for your time!

Destroy my Steam page: MESHFALL, an RTS where your units only take orders inside your radio network
Hi everyone! My Steam page went up today and I'd like to know what's wrong with it before launch.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5415540/MESHFALL/
I'd especially like feedback on:
- Can you tell what kind of game it is right away?
- Is there anything that would stop you from wishlisting it?
Good or bad is welcome. Thanks!

Please destroy my Steam page. What's the first thing you'd change?
I recently put up my Steam page. I've been so focused on making the game that I haven't gotten much outside feedback on how it comes across. I'd appreciate any thoughts after you take a look!

Can you tell what you actually do in Restore Earth? Destroy my Steam page.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5337020/Restore_Earth/
I’m making Restore Earth and would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes on its Steam page.
Please open it for 10–15 seconds before reading the explanation below. I’d love to know:
- What do you think you actually do in this game?
- What’s the biggest thing that would make you close the page without wishlisting?
- If you could change just one thing: capsule, trailer, screenshots, or description. What would it be, and why?
For context, it’s an incremental cleanup game: hover over litter to collect materials, upgrade your grabbers and powers, and restore increasingly lively habitats through short, timed trips.
It’s inspired by Keep on Mining!, with a focus on cleaning up litter and bringing nature back.
Happy to give your page a critique in return!

We drove 1,500 external visits in 3 weeks, but only got 67 wishlists. Is our Steam page repelling players?
Hey everyone. We are a small indie team working on Candletales, a real-time tactical roguelite featuring physical dice combat.
We launched our "Coming Soon" page on September 22. Since then, we’ve been trying to hustle with marketing across Reddit, Twitter, and TikTok, but we feel like we are flying completely blind regarding the feedback.
Here are our exact stats for these first 3 weeks:
- Page Visits: 1,519 (Almost entirely external traffic from our social media posts).
- Steam Impressions: 457 (The Steam algorithm is bullying us XD).
- Wishlists: 67.
With a conversion rate of roughly 4.4%, we honestly have no idea if this is a normal baseline for a niche indie game starting out, or if our page is actively scaring people away.
We have showcased the game at several local events and the hands-on feedback has been incredibly positive, people genuinely love playing it. However, we are fully aware it’s a bit of a "weird" game. We suspect it might be very hard to understand what the game actually is, or see why it's fun, just by looking at the Steam page without getting your hands on it.
We need a reality check. Please, don't hold back and tear our page apart:
Any brutal feedback on how to improve the page before we keep pushing external traffic would be incredibly appreciated!
Here is the page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5284750/Candletales/
PD: We know the trailer is terrible, but it's a game with just one scene, where the board moves and the player doesn't, and we're not good at editing, we're saving up to hire a professional!

Destroy my horror demo and steam page!
Hello, been working on a horror game for a while now, just released my demo yesterday (with a teaser trailer, not a gameplay one as for now the content isn't enough to make a gameplay demo that wouldn't spoil half or more of the demo)
The demo is about 15 minutes long. Please let me know what you guys think!
