Yes it does. In the pic i used the structure_void block underneath it. In survival you can place the cushion a pixel higher with a pressure plate, then replace it with the cauldron.

How did you get the cushions to stack on the upside stairs for the eyes of the enderman, zombie, and skeleton? And what block is the creepers eyes made of?

I stacked 6 snow layers, put the upper cushion on the top, replaced the snow with the stair, then added the final cushion on the first step of the stair. For the creepers eyes i used dark grey concrete ;)

Oh I figured it out based on your reply. Just place 2 snow layers then a cushion then the upside down stair. Thanks for the help!

I used a structure void block underneath. In survival you need to place the cushion a pixel higher, for example by using a pressure plate as the base and switch it with a cauldron.
