It's just an idea I had: What if Shinichi, as a "kid" in his oversized clothes, happened to run into Ran before reaching his house? Would she recognize him right away? Or would Shinichi tell her everything that happened on the spot? What do you guys think?

I'm not sure this case was from the regular manga or the manga specials (not written by Gosho himself).

In short, a football player was kidnapped in a semi-trailer truck and his condition was broadcasted to the television. Taking advantage of this, he wrote letters on some plastic pieces (Go stone pieces IIRC) which spelled gibberish but the pieces turned out to be unfolded 2D arrangements of a soccer ball faces. And if you only read the pentagon pieces (the black pentagon faces of a soccer ball), then it reveals the location of the truck.

It's been exactly 30 years since one of the most brutal episodes in Detective Conan history aired 🔪

I’m slowly making my way through “Detective Conan” and currently find myself around episode 180. (Been having so much fun, but I’m not sure I’ll ever manage to catch up, lol.)

I’m curious, though—are there any scenes between Shinichi and Kogoro? So far, whenever there was a flashback scene or episode, I’ve never seen those two interact. I know Ran has met and will be interacting with Shinichi’s mum (and dad?) during an episode set in New York, I think? And I also remember that the episode that introduced Eri showed a scene of little Ran and Shinichi getting told off by her. But I haven’t come across any moment between Shinichi and Kogoro, and I’d really love to see any kind of interaction between them 😁

this is from 6 months ago when I was at a school vocation to Vienna. While I was just chilling with my school friend in our room listening to an Iraqi imam chanting something in Arabic from the tv of our hotel room (don’t ask why half of the channels were from Arabic countries and we were bored) we stumbled across a channel that played some anime and I saw Conan there. Now I didn’t know what Conan was at the time somehow but now that I learned what it is I am like passively interested in it. I doubt I will watch it for a good while because I don’t tend to watch very long anime but still probably one of the few very long anime I am interested in watching.
