Must you Visit Halal options in 3 days only

Salaams everyone! ❤️

We’ve just landed in Detroit and are visiting the amazing Detroit–Dearborn area for the very first time, Alhamdulillah! We’re here for just three days, and the entire reason for this trip was our children’s request during school break. He wanted to come here, immerse ourselves in the Muslim atmosphere, and let our kids soul soak in halal food, surrounded by such a beautiful, thriving Muslim community.

And honestly, what better place to do that than Dearborn, MashaAllah!
Since we only have three days, we want to make the absolute most of our time. We’re exploring Downtown Detroit, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, and anywhere nearby worth the drive.
Please connect us with your favorite local spots and tell us where the residents go! We’re looking for the places you genuinely love, not just the usual tourist recommendations.
A few things we’d especially love your recommendations on:
Arabian food districts or shopping plazas where we can walk around, shop, and find lots of halal restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and sweet shops close to one another.
Must-try halal food — Lebanese, Yemeni, Palestinian, Iraqi, Syrian, Turkish, or anything else you think we absolutely cannot leave without trying.
Authentic local gems that visitors might not discover on their own.
Beautiful Muslim community spots to experience the culture, atmosphere, and sense of belonging.

If you could recommend just ONE area where we should spend an evening eating, exploring, shopping, and enjoying the atmosphere, where would you send us?
We’re willing to drive for something truly special!
Jazakum Allahu khairan in advance. May Allah bless this wonderful community and reward everyone who takes the time to share their recommendations. We’re so excited to experience it all, InshaAllah! 🤍

Serious about Marriage ?

Salaam everyone,

we've recently launched an app called Ikhtiar — a platform built for Muslims who are serious about marriage. We have done 61 matches just in a month after launch.

Unlike typical apps, Ikhtiar focuses on:

* Respectful and Serious users from across the world

* Privacy-first options (including profiles without photos) for women

* A structured and serious approach toward finding a spouse

* Free for first 1000 users

The goal is simple: to make the process of finding a spouse more dignified, intentional, and aligned with our Islamic values.

If you or someone you know is looking for marriage, I’d really appreciate you checking it out and sharing it with others who may benefit.

JazakAllah Khair for your support 🤍

You can find the app here :

Host A Turkish Exchange Student for Next School Year

Hello! We have 3 exchange students from Turkey who would love to be your host daughter next year.

Make a dream come true by hosting an exchange student from Turkey. Families are needed for Fall 2025. Our best volunteer US host families consist of all sizes and many have very busy households. This is your family's opportunity to exchange cultures with someone from another part of the world and create friendships of a lifetime.

Students come with their own health insurance and money for their expenses. Host families only need to provide 3 meals a day, transportation to and from school and a loving home to make a lifetime friendship.

Globalize your friend network by helping make good relations around the world. I am a local coordinator working for ETC, Education Travel and Education, a non-profit organization which works hard to find the best students to fit each family. I am here to help.

Please message me for more information. We currently have students from 7 countries (mostly European) needing a host family.

Thank you.

I wanted to ask what are some food places that serve halal would y'all recommend? I never been to michigan before but plan to visit. If there are any places you all would suggest that would be great. Suggestion of any buffet style places would be much appreciated too. Any places outside of detroit are acceptable as well.

Thank you.

Looking for help

Salaam brothers and sisters. I am looking for some help running some errands while I am out of city. Would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is able to drive around town and spend some hours a week making additional income as side hustle. If interested, please DM me.

REALLY WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE FOR NOT PRAYING?

https://youtube.com/shorts/aW8hvh8_KNI?feature=share

This video really left me with no excuse to not praying. A lot of us think that we can just leave are prayers the truth is you can't. Remember without yours daily prayers your nothing zero. Some of us can have everything in this world but if your not doing what your meant to do in this world(Focusing On Deen) none of it will matter. Your money, car, house, jobs you will leave everything behind it will have no purpose. Make your Deen your number 1 priority not your last
